Picked up DropService.com today.

Thoughts?

Is it better than DropServices.com?

No the singular is better. Nice name but a very limited market so I can't really guess as to what you might get for it.

It's a good name, but you probably won't find a buyer for it. It would be best if you could develop it yourself.

Yes, singular is better.

Got it when I checked it out at domainsurfer
and it was listed, but when I checked details,
it was available to register.
Sometimes being lucky is better than being good.

(They have not updated @ domainsurfer since Sept. 9)

Linked it up today with snap names.

I think when WLS arrives, this name may be flexible enough
for other services beyond domain name service.

Thanks for the comments.

I agree it is kind of esoteric. It neither mentions domain names nor "drop" is a formal term for the uninitiated to get the hint quickly.

DropOffService would mean something else but would be more marketable.

I dont know what to tell ya. Persoanlly I think there are more names floating than services we need.

But THIS is the group to ask whether this name is marketable. Maybe someone who employs the technology of drop reg'ing would need to upgrade from their current anme or redirect for added traffic. Its a great name, BTW, technically speaking.
