Any change of registrant would = a 60 day transfer lock.

you mean "registrar" right?
I thought crapdaddy were the only crooks that slapped a 60 day lock on when the registrant details were changed.

Godaddy is most commonly known with it and many think that it's an ICANN rule, but it's not. I do like the 60 day hold rule, but most registrars do follow it.

I do kind of back "out" on the Godaddy part, as I did sell a domain that was in the lock period at Godaddy, and Network Solutions must have a "deal" with them, because they allowed the change of registrars. :?:

I think you are getting yourself confused.

The ICANN rule is a 60 day lock when the registrar is changed (i.e a domain transfer), this is the same for all registrars and is compulsory.

Crapdaddy also have imposed a 60 day lock when the registrant is changed (i.e domain push or whois details changed), this is not an ICANN rule and afaik crapdaddy is the only one to do this.

edit: enom also have a 7 day "push lock"

Kris, if the registrant is changed (push) the domain is on the 60 day lock! (ie. No Transfer out) Not just on a transfer, it's both.

So, no I am not confused.

Jamie, I am pretty sure Dynadot do not lock the name for 60 days after a push, I have posted a question on Dynadots forum to clear this up for good.

Will let you know the definitive answer.

Yes if it was a push then you would be able to transfer the name out...however quite recently Dynadot's panel has been playing up and you might have to wait a day or two before it goes out of the processing queue or completes the order...
