I've never listed any domains on an eBay auction because the first appearance I had with them... they merely had a bunch of crap LLLL.com domains with BIN's of ~$12 (XVQZ, XYZQ, etc. with high Estibots, obviously fake traffic info and many other deceptive tactics to get bids) or TM domains with million dollar BIN's.

I just did a search today for the heck of it and found some better quality (I emphasize better because they are a lot better than they were years ago... as never looked eBay since I saw all the crap the first time) domain names that are getting bids (still some TM's and crap LLLL.com's in the mix, but not as prevalent as before).

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?LH_Auction=1&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_nkw=domain+names&_sop=5

An example is NOZC (not my domain) being advertised as pronounceable (in what language?) and they show a list of real pronounceable names that have sold for quite a bit like CVCV's (Gapa for $3700 as an example in their list, NOZC isn't even a CVCV so it's not relevant in my eyes to put in the list... just a sales tactic IMO), but a domain of that quality would likely never clear reg fee on this forum if not sell at all. It currently has 22 bids for $30 with 13 hours left to go.

Are these real bidders/buyers? Has anyone had success with eBay with or without a reserve price? BIN? What's your take one eBay? Has it grown up enough for the domain aftermarket for either resellers or end users?

(This person obviously has some success with a 562 seller rating, all positive, but can those be faked as well?)

David,

I use Ebay quite a lot and have grabbed numerous bargains on there. I have just sold 10 of my worst LLLL.coms for $250.

I am still waiting for payment so lets cross our fingers :)

I have picked up some QUAD premium LLLL.coms for like $25.

Please close this post as I don't want more people picking up my potential bargains :)

Joke :p

10 as a lot for $250 or $250 each?

As far as waiting for payment, how long has it been? Would you say there are deadbeat / non-payers?
