I was shocked to find out my gmail account, which Admins my Domainsponsor account was hijacked. None of my domains were transferred, but the only other account, as far as I can tell...to have it's password changed has been my Domainsponsor account. I have written Domainsponsor twice, and have gotten no response. Forget about trying to get ahold of anyone on the phone!

There are a few lessons here for domainers. Security if key, don't rely on free email services. Check your security settings always, use private commercial email, preferrably a service that instantly notifies you of a password change.

Secondly, if your domain is taken over...and your password is changed at Domainsponsor...don't expect help. This is disappointing, because I transferred all my domains over for the March challenge...and now I don't even know how that worked out.

If someone at Domainsponsor cares, I would really appreciate a response!!!!

Yes, I tried calling Domainsponsor and ended up in Voicemail Hell.
I submitted a help form, and I am receiving no support.

Whomever it was, took over my Gmail account in an effort to take over my Domainsponsor account, and it's working...because Domainsponsor appearantly is doing anything.

I got my gmail account back, no domains were compromised.
Don't over rely on any one email...especially free email services...that's what I have learned.
