looks like you have a live one here, dvdrip...

...especiallly since this is despite the "which extension is best investment?" poll for this forum being less in favor of .INFO than the same poll at another forum.

Possibly your best name.

England.info will heed $2000-8000

I'd say between $2k - 5k. More if developed.

You don't have anymore similar names like Scotland.info or cities in England?.

I am sure there are people in the UK who would spend quite a bit for this domain. I am usually pretty stingy with appraisals, but could get mid 5 figures, maybe a bit more.

can affilias takes back the domain name? i saw a few country names that were registered earlier by speculator and later listed as reserved names.

It's quite a risk to buy this name at the moment, imho.

Notice the beginning of a bimodel distribution... with a gap in the middle. I have noticed this before in .INFO valuation polls. People tend to have strong positive or negative reponses -- often with a gap in the middle -- as opposed to a unimodal (e.g bell-shaped) distribution.

Very good point, DomeBase.

All that truly matters is the highest valuation of the bidders -- all the other bidders are meaningless.

There is no threat here of this name being taken back by Afilias as this is not an official country name. England is not a country, the United Kingdom is, and that one is on the reserved list.

Recently I have sold Schweiz.info, which is how the swiss call their own country. Now this is an official country name. But Afilias made a mistake here, on the reserved list they misspelled it as schweitz.info so I was able to register schweiz.info in LR2.
The buyer is aware of this, and they offered me a choice of contracts: one with a higher price where I would have to repay the money if Afilias reclaims the name, and one with a lower price where he accepts the risk. I went for safety and chose the latter.

England is a country.

The UK is not. The UK is a collection of countries and other states.

My country is England and it annoys me that I cannot include this in many application forms.

Try telling a Frenchman that he is not a Frenchman but a european.

I lived in London for almost 6 years so I know a thing or two.
sexy.info is not for sale.

If you don't know much about england you can't be very informative, better keep it for a few years and sell for 5 figures.
How much do you ask for sexy.info? I might buy it next year (if info doesn't take off).

yes, I know the football team called as england, so it would be wise to develop it as a sports page. My appraisal is more than $5K.

To some Englishmen, football is played with an oval ball. There is another milder game played with a round ball know as soccer or something like that :D

Wanna trade with Premiership.net ? :D

Premiership is the English football league name. You could start a better football fan site in England.

If I'm not wrong. United Kingdom comprises of 4 countries; England, Ireland, Scotland and Welsh.

So England is a country.

I think making a website for the english football team would be too limiting. A subdomain maybe like football.england.info or soccer.england.info would be more suitable.
