Reading your posts, I am constantly reminded why.;)

Cartoonz has every right to select his clients. The one thing I would suggest is that he post on his site that little bit of information. You may not be approved.

If I remember correctly, to apply, you first had to go and purchase a name at that crummy stargate. So you basically waste a reg hoping that Toonz will accept your application. Then if he doesn't respond, you've still got a reg locked up in that half baked site.

He should let the people know that even if they reg a name at stargate, he still may not approve the account. I think that's why I hear of a few pissed off people. It should also be considered common courtesy to respond to all applications, even when they are refused. Doc

Too funny.

Both my previous post and this one are referring to your comments about Clemzonguy. The one quoted here started the negative tone and was out of line. Cartoonz, you could have simply replied "no way" instead of going on the attack. Clemzonguy is entitled to his opinion on wls just as you are to yours.

As for Stargate.

There are many people who are happy with Stargate. And, you have to consider what your expectations are from the registrar.

I am surprised how many people have domains with Register.com and Network Solutions considering the cost.

Since, apparently Stargate is also working with Enom. Maybe, their system will become similar to Enoms.

Who knows?

I guess it's good to have Stargates connection to the registry and hope it works out however I am leary of keeping any names there after the horror stories I have heard.
I guess we'll see.

As far as being greedy goes I think it was just a smart business decision. No one runs a business to make less money?

Peace!

Anyone know how to change the DNS on a name that eNom got using Stargate?

I have an offer on such a name and have no idea how much traffic it has. It should have a lot as it has a juicy Alexa ranking :)

Thanks

I've already gotten a response from Enom last friday, you have to wait a week before you can change the domain settings, apparently they have to do an internal transfer from Stargate to Enom.
