Hi folks, you still flooding my mailbox because of problems with the code "DNFORUM_ES20" to get the discount.
How to work arround: first login or create an account, then search for the names that you want to register. Now you will see during checkout the field where to enter the code. When you first search and then login you will not see the field for the code. Sorry for that. It will be fixed the next days, as soon we have time for that. Right now we are implementing .tw in AsiaDNS.

Freddy

What about IT domains. There are only a few, who provides services for non-eu residents, while other reigistrars charge as low as 20 euro. Do you think you can get us a discount for those as well?

The point is, here we have a lot of handwork.
If you are not european, we have to become the holder of the DN´s.
That means, you will get from us a document, that you have to sign, and fax us back. We need this quickly back. Because we have to send it to the registry.

But please no Trademarks and Typos, we could try something on this. Can you give me a forecast?

Who would register some .it? And how much? I just want to see if it is worth doing something.

There are a bunch of good .es's still available for pre-reg. I think they will do very well. I will be picking up some more soon, I also just PM'd you Freddy.

How many .es's would we have to reg to get a discount from the 18 Euro price?

thanks!

Regarding the questions about the .it Discount.
Do not Register Trademarks or Companynames that you do not own!
I/We will refuse the complete order in case when we smell Typosquating of Trademarks. Be aware that we are the trusty for you in Italy if you do not have a Address. So EuroDNS will be in the WhoIs.
Here you have the Italy Discount Code: DNFORUM_IT20
Details: it annualPrice 20 % 07/11/2005 24/12/2005
The Code expires christmas.

freddy, please keep us updated on this as it's unfortunate that this would happen even after they split up the release dates.

Yeah! You are right! We are waiting, have no access to the whois. Shit!
We said that we will flood the registry, but I never thought that they will go down.

Now it is here in Europe 8:40 a.m.
I am in the office since 6, at 7 the landrush should start.
7.15 a.m. I called the registry 1st time.
Few minutes ago second time. The registration system is overloaded. No respond any more from the system. Thats for all registrars, and the webfront end of the registry.

If Freddy's .ES list can do this to the registry, imagine what his .EU list will do... sheesh
