Guys explain me one thing , I still can't understand how this system work

1. Lets assume I'm Buyer and buying a domain xxx.com , after escrow.com receives the funds The Seller creating False account in same Registrar with Buyer's whois info and pushing the name to that false account which was created by him earlier

Well of course as a buyer I'm not approving that I've receive merchandise and inspection period starting . So my question is simple how escrow.com determines that Seller Pushed the domain to original buyers account and not to a false one ??

Or another scenario

Escrow.com always instruct to transfer the domain exactly to " First Last Names of the Buyer and full address " , but we all know that we can't control that thing

Why ? because we are generally pushing the domains using usernames , emails , acc. id and we never know what whois address is used in Buyers account .

So my second question is . How escrow determines that the Buyer had received the domain and not someone else, as whois change will reflect false address which might be different then the address which buyer provided to escrow.com

I'll really appreciate if someone will explain me this

Yes. In fact they paid out today 4/5 days after submission.

Just what I thought would happen.... I'm glad it worked it for you. When in doubt, Give them a call.

I usually recieve payment from them within 5 days, Unlike Moniker when I had to wait over 40 days after turning over my domains to them.

I have used Escrow.com for over 8 years and have never, never had a problem. I always have a one day inspection perioud, and I always tell the buyer to use the
name on the documents that will match the whois. I recently did a deal with a person, but when the transfer came, the Corporation name was on it...thus two different names.. I had them re-do the paperwork to match, thus making sure that down the line I would not have complications. I do about 3 deals a year...or more,..and so far, other than doing a deal and waiting for the money if it is close to a weekend, it is all smooth.

I always CC Escrow.com on all communications, including that of handing over accounts & passwords to the buyer. I never push domains to an account I have not created, btw. This way I am sure all info matches.

This case is unique. I suggest you call Escrow.com on the phone.

I have never had problems with Escrow.com before with numerous transactions. The problem lies with the fact that they are not a "domain transaction" specialist company. So you will encounter problems here and there. I think you just have to know what their limitations are when getting into bed with them. But I much prefer Escrow.com than Sedo for a variety of reasons.

I used Escrow.com for a large transaction and it went okay. Even though the buyer left my information on transfer I got the money in 3 working days overseas. I did have to threaten the buyer with taking back the domain, as I was still the listed owner, so they understood and changed it. Escrow is cheaper by far and secure. Going the Moniker route is like buying a pig in a poke - you transfer your property to a middle man whose terms with the buyer are unknown. They both have the disadvantage of using a very weak single currency as the only form for doing business.

Agree, This is one of the major reasons I wont use Moniker or Sedo, Something about handing over your domain and waiting over 45 days for payment, just doesn't sit very well with me.

I never had any problems with Escrow.com, Moniker or Sedo. With regards to Escrow.com they are very willing to accommodate additional terms into the contract, as long as you are an established member. They will even split payments into wire/CC if you pass their test ;) Moniker escrow: I used them twice. The second time for a portfolio worth mid five figures. The sale went through very fast and efficiently although I did call them a couple of times on the phone (seller's anxiety). Sedo...well, it can be the best in terms of efficiency or it can take longer. It depends on the person handling the transaction. My suggestion: email them each step of the way during a transaction to ensure they get notified instead of relying on the back-end data.

I've used Escrow.com for three large transactions, and a couple of smaller ones, and have never had any major issues. I did have a small problem with a credit card, but that was my fault, and in the end they sorted everything out for me.

I have used Escrow.com on two occasions and fortunately for me there were no problems. However, the one thing I'm not happy with is that the only contact you get with them is either through posting on the website or emailing [email protected]. There is no personal contact and that isn't good enough.

You really need to have these transactions assigned to an account manager, so you have a particular individual in the loop every step of the way. That way, if anything goes wrong you can quickly pull that person in and deal with things immediately.

If Escrow.com wants to establish itself as the number one player in domain name escrow (which has staggering potential) then they need to move to this account manager model and they need to act now. This area is ripe for a clever player to move in and establish itself as the No.1 player because Escrow.com hasn't really done that. It's trying to be everything, rather than just focus on domain name escrow. I personally would rather deal with a specialist who is focused on one area of interest, not many. Like others here I really believe they are spreading themselves too thin on the ground trying to do escrow with everything under the sun.

I believe the leading registrars will attack this space in a big way in the next 12 months.
