FAb+ looks great Mike. I just added about 100, now I just have to get them all set up.

Very happy to see that it is very clear the domain is For Sale. Nice templates, cool color combos, and much more. Excited to see how the CTR looks.

im a big fan of fab + but was hoping to see higher click throughs - not noticed any ctr improvements thus far how about you guys

agree - so far it is the worst time period as long as i have been parking there - gambling clicks are wayyyyyyy down - the highest so far is a little over a dollar - this is a joke ( so far with 1/3 of the month gone my revenue is less than 1/3 of what it should be ) - but i will wait another few days before i have enough of this.

I have very few gambling or adult related domains, so I can't speak to what is happening there. Maybe Mike might want to comment.

Mine tend to be broadly diversified in areas like travel, shopping, sports, entertainment, education, health, employment, and so on. And like I said above, I'm seeing a very nice increase:)

Hi Wolfis,

There is quite a difference in bid price for the different Gambling categories we have. For example, Bingo has a top bid price of $0.14 whereas Poker is in excess of $5.00.

Looking at your account, it is currently running at over $300 per thousand uniques. Which by anyone's standards is very respectable.

Cheers,

Mike

Wolfis,

I truly would think long and hard before jumping ship from Fab. From everything I have seen (and I've been at this for almost a decade now), they are the best of the best, The Blue Chip.

I have spent half this night trying to get GoDaddy's system to work. Six boots so far and no success! Which just brings me back to being so thankful I have Fab as an alternative! Intelligent account reps, speedy resolution to your problems, good payouts on time...come on, what more could you ask???

Just some venting here, back to trying to make GoDaddy work:disappointed:

Mike , i don't know from whom you got this figure - but this was LAST month - not sure if your people have a little math problem !

THIS MONTH ( as your program changed at the beginning of the month)
my results are showing approx. $ 100 per 1000 visits and only half of the normal visits.
and if you would like to argue about the results , i am happy to post a screenshot IN PUBLIC so that EVERYONE can calculate and see !

Sorry wolfis, I determined the RPM based on the last 90 days of stats.

If you would like, I can roll your domains back to the Premium 5.0 program.

Let me know.

Cheers,

Mike

Hi Mike

I'm a fairly new user at Fabulous, and I want to say that I am very pleased with the new Fab + flexibility. Being able to customize layouts, images and colors is great.

I do have a question. Have you done any studies on whether bright, vivid pictures detract from the viewer reading the text? In other words, does a softer background picture lead to more reading of the text, and thusly, more clicks?

Thanks

Hi Canoodle,

What we have found is that the more relevant the image is to the actual domain name, the more likely a user is to click on an advertiser link.

The way our system determines related images is based on the phrase the domain consists of and the Roar category it is assigned to. Like most automated system, it's not fool proof, so if you notice a domain isn't performing well, take a look at the lander and if need customize the page with more relevant images.

Cheers,

Mike

Hi Mike

Thanks for your response.

I certainly understand the relevancy part, but that is not quite what I am asking. Let me try again: You have some very stunning photos that can be customized to a page. When you open a page with strong pictures, the eyes go right to the photo. Do these types of pictures detract from clicks?

In other words, do soft, relevant pictures work better than strong relevant pictures for clicks?

Thanks again.

Hi Canoodle,

Thanks for the clarification. Unfortunately, we have not tested for this, so I am unable to provide any further comments.

Wolfis,

I looked at one of my Fab gambling sites, and I now understand your predicament. Yes, the gambling domains did not transition well to Fab+.

However, there is a solution. I have found that if you find a category which shows graphic landers, and you customize those landers, the PPC skyrockets.

Best wishes on your endeavors,

SoCalBoy

For those interested in seeing what the Fabulous+ program can do for your domains, we have created a sandbox so you can play around with our Dynamic Generator editor.

The Dynamic Generator editor allows you to create unique designs for individual domains by selecting different Page layouts, Color Variations, and Relevant Images.

Click here to launch the sandbox demo.

Once you've had a play around, contact either your Account Rep or [email protected] to start using the new Fabulous+ landers.

If you don't yet have a Fabulous account you can sign up here.

Cheers,

Mike

A question on Fabulous:

I have a few names that get 4 or 5 views a day, then on a single day they get 90 or 100 without any clicks. Then they revert back to the old routine. This happens frequently. Anyone have an idea what is happening to cause this?

Thanks...

im a BIG fan of fab
their reg and parking account is the best in the industry by a mile
their fab plus parking provide the best parking pages around (by a mile)

two questions though

whats happenned to the $10 plus casino / poker clicks lately
and in the stats it says sales is this the tracking of actual advertiser sales from clicks?

Hi dreamking,

About a year ago there were changes to the laws in the USA, prohibiting Online Gambling. As a result bid prices for Casino/Gambling/Poker has suffered.

In the revenue report the Sales column refers to if you are sending traffic to our DarkBlue.com advertisers. These advertisers pay on a CPA basis.

The majority of traffic (if not all) is sent to our PPC landing pages, unless a customer requests otherwise.

Cheers,

Mike
