Hi guys, I am new in domain industry, please could you tell me how can I appraise my domain ? Or the appraisal of the domains written in the 1st post ? It will really help to get the big picture. Thanks.

Well I'd say the name is very average, it's a typical regfee domain. But I don't see resale value.
Somebody who is willing to put money in a preowned domain is probably going to set the bar higher.
Right now I could buy findthebestdomains.com, it's a tad longer but more memorable and perfectly makes sense as a call to action domain name.
Shorter is not always better.

I don't know about the rest of your portfolio but Colgate = trademark. Be careful. What were your intentions when you registered this ?
As for the rest, the problem is the extension or the names are slightly awkward, or they are not generic enough.

Always put yourself in the shoes of an end user, would you actually buy your own domains, or would you first try to find available alternatives. Domain sales are the exception and not the norm, so I recommend that you only register domains you're willing to keep and develop.

You say you have approx 360 domains, it's easy to compute the cost of the renewals. Are you going to sell enough within the first year just to recoup your initial fees ?
Study the market, analyze the reported sales, understand what domains do sell and why. Good luck.

Thank you very much for response. What do you think about BuyNyse.com and Earning.mobi ? I own 360 domains, but to be honest, I believe that at least 200 of them is just pure junk. I am developing PTC site www.buxplanet.com and I also think that domains with the words "earning" with optimalization I can use to take customers from google to redirect them to my PTC site. These domains are earningoninternet.com, earningonnet.com and few others.

How much can valuate.com value .co domains ? I have few domains with the prices valuated for +$2000 like buylaptop.co or buysoftware.co but is it better to sold them, or hold them for the few more years ? Thanks

---------- Post added at 06:40 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:31 PM ----------

I also wonder how can really shitty names be sold on sedo with prices +$100

For all that I know .mobi died years ago

Automated appraisal tools are worthless. Never ever buy anything based on automated appraisals.
.co is not a extension in which I would speculate heavily, especially in non-premium keywords.

Shitty like what ? Examples ? :)
You need to get rid of all your TM domains, they are worth nothing but trouble.

Here are few domains from the current auction:

lucky-casinoworld.com - 300 euros....dafuq
comparateurprix.com - 850 euros
limocleveland.com - $950
skintagsremoval.com - $250
currentautos.com - $70
myipaddresses.com - $160

It's only 1st page and not final prices because it's about 1 day to end auction, but I am sure most of these domains wont sell here even for $20...so how it's possible to get prices like that on auction?

comparateurprix.com is French, I can tell you that the current bid is justified for this name.
The value of a given domain is not always clear to outside parties.
Mediocre domains do sometimes sell but by having quality domains you increase the odds of making a sale.

Think about it, there are 100 million domains registered just in .com, and millions of domains are listed on Sedo. Statistically, the likelihood of a sale is nil or equal to winning the lottery. Very few domains will ever sell. That's reality.
If you have quality domains that would appeal to many buyers, there is a chance you will make a sale.
Otherwise it's just gambling.
In this game it's 99% about domain quality and 1% luck.
Let me repeat, just because bad domains sell doesn't mean anything can sell, or that all domains have equal potential for resale.

All things being equal you will notice that some extensions sell more often than others.

Yeah, that's that french word, but I am sure that lucky-casinoworld.com won't sell here even for $20.
