One thing that people must realise is the sale price of any domain name cannot be calculated scientifically. Luck and timing can and do play a major part.

Let me give you an example of two LLLL.coms we own:

we owned Azam.com and had many approaches over the years, but they were around the $1000-$5000 mark. Not enough for us to sell. Then we had an approach from a gentleman with a @ml.com email address (Azam was his surname). Realising that people towards the top of the hierarchy of Merrill Lynch are generally not poor, we asking for quite a bit of money for the domain name and he agreed. We sold it last year to him for the equivalent of $80,000. Luck played a part because a gentleman who is one of the wealthiest 'Azams' in the world had to have the domain name.

We have another LLLL.com domain name Axoy.com for which the maximum offer we've had is about $3,000 (which we won't sell for). Just like Azam.com it has relatively little value to most people until we find the right individual or company.

So the moral of the story is to be patient and remember that, as with many things in life, luck plays a major part.

Pronounceable and meaningful LLLL.com's undoubtedly have a great deal of value. Just have to find the right buyers.
