It is just two letters. The use they are put to is the perhaps the issue.

What you as domainers should be asking yourselves if two letter is worth 7 figures then how far into 8 figures are single letter dot Coms going to stretch.

ICANN is going to be auctioning soon and we will soon all know.

Might be worth checking out a few IDN single character domains. Who knows, perhaps there are still golden opportunities kicking around.

This guy sent an email to dnjournal, cnet, adam dicker, and myself directing us to his press release. Why would you want Cnet and other major news sites reporting this?
P-U-B-L-I-C-T-Y.

To bring awareness to the Brotherhood and the cause.

Surprised this guy did not snatch up KKK.mobi when it was on the market.

Racism...coming soon to a phone near you.

If this domian in fact really has sold, I don't think I have ever seen a domain drop in value more than this one in such a short time.

This is like having a junk yard on a nice property which was over paid for.

Sure. What's the unicode for the swastika symbol?

É´.net...just one example that I have.

Been mining a few of those. Some get traffic but nothing earth shattering.

Several others in dot com but not sure which registrar I have them with.

Many of my Chinese IDN .com and .net are doing very well with traffic and revenue.

®tm.com Right now this one is getting the most traffic.

É¢.net
ʟ.com
ʀ.net

are a few others

Why didn't he snatch it up? Well of course, because it's a dot.mobi....:rofl::rofl:

You guys are amazing...who gives a sh*t what he does...in the end all people think about is that ss.com sold for 1.25 million dollars...and if you don't like it don't goto it..whenever I see "SS" I immediately think of Super Sport since I'm a chevy riding son of a gun :eek:k:

If the dude is a racist and overspent on the domain name for some notoriety at least maybe now he'll be broke and out of resources! lol Who gives a shit, the world is still turning regardless of what this dude says or does...and hitler is dead as dirt.

Sorry but I don't think of Super Sport when I see SS sure other stuff go through my mind but so does the waffen ss. Maybe the fact that certain scum of the earth like to out SS markings in schools and toilets or at work that you can't ever forget. The fact is SS.com is now in the hands of evil, now if someone looks up ss they will probably soon find a neo-nazi mecha . I couldn't give a shit how much it sold for.

Also Focus there is no "if" We can clearly see he is a white supremest with a bigot attitude. This much is evident with a little bit of googling, I also doubt he's now broke, no doubt members of "the cause" gave donations to help this purchase.

This is a horrible sale, shame on the seller IMO.

Yes, I remember this too and I think it was a lot lower than $60K at the time. Something doesn't feel right about this sale... :undecided:

Yes it was available on ebay for $40,000 BIN in 03 was it?

Why not we start a new buyers collective to enable purchases like this one. Granted where do you draw the line? If you own quit.com and sell for $250 million to a tobacco company, is that evil?

cool sale, who gives a damn who the buyer is- if the buyer wants to do what he wants to do, he will do it anyways with the other names ~ nothing you can do here

but i've got the feeling geeza has some political minded intentions, clearly has money to spend and is based in Switzerland!

Personally, I think it's ok to draw the line at Nazi's. I'll admit that line-drawing is often inherently difficult, but it is what makes us reasoned and moral beings.
