GoDaddy $3.24 .com/.net/.org domain registration

On GoDaddy checkout use "expert mode"
(cart will initially show $9.20 per domain)
1. Enter code USA6 to get $1 off of your cart.
2. Enter code USA1 which will add one year of free email and drops your fee to $4.24
3. Checkout for $3.24

(Codes also work with .US for $2.99)

These codes might work on WildWest accounts as well.

Note that the email service that you added with your purchase is free for the first year, but they will charge you $10 each additional year automatically. If you do not want to use their email service, make sure you edit your account in the Renewals section and choose to cancel the email renewals any traffic fees associated with it.

This deal works with new registrations only. The $1 off code USA6 works with renewals too, so you can renew an existing domain name that you have with GoDaddy and save $1 per order.

does it work when you wish to transfer a name over to godaddy from a different registrar?

Why would it not be legit? After all, they are the ones that handed out the code? :)

i am not risking it. At that price godaddy won't make a profit. So i doubt it would be legitimit!

I had bad experience with domainsite, when i bought a name from someone who had somehow got it for $4! they took it away from me without telling me and requested $35 to get it back :O

Hope it doesn't happen to you guys.
BTW, can you buy domain credits via godaddy? without having to reg domains?

This is from a buy.com promotion, it appears to be legitmate.

They are trying to beat Yahoo's new $4.99 domains: http://domains.yahoo.com

The catch with Yahoo is that you can only register 1 domain (I think) but the Godaddy offer lets you register as many as you want and goes through the 31st of the month.

Thanks for the heads up.

By the way, does anyone know if this is legit to use with domain transfers ??

I was planning to transfer some of my domains to GoDaddy as the transfer prices seemed fine to me. I did go through the transfer and use the codes again and the total came to 4.24.

Just wondering if its ok to do this ?? Or will I have a problem later on from them ??
