So i let one of my names with godaddy expire on june 27th. I put it off because i was just gonna renew a bunch at once and its not an active website so i figured as long as i renew it within 30 days, all is well.

Apparently not. I was unaware that godaddy only gives you 18 days after which it costs 89 dollars to get the domain back. Do all registars do this? I normally never let domains expire so i've nevere experienced this with any other but was pretty shocked as to the cost of it. The person i talked to on the phone was very nice and helpful, i have no complaints there but she mentioned that others charge 120 for this. Is this true?
