I tried DNSs in US, it does not work. I have sent email to GD. Any solution?

Overthrough the current oppressive goverment and install a republic with a strong constitution and bill of rights. Worked for US.

it is not a big problem,i remember certain Asian countries block google or yahoo before, also myspace.

More likely sites they host are critical of the current goverment.

One size doesn't fit all. American flavor of democracy can't be imposed everywhere.

The solution has to be evolved by the people of that country -- not by US or any other country in the world. Tipping points always come.

I didn't say democracy.. I said republic which is ruled by laws not public sentiment. Your free to believe what ever you want... well sometimes. Besides... who said impose. I didn't offer to do it for them.

That's too funny. We spend most of our time baning Chineese ip numbers. Are you sure there is not a .htaccess blocking you?

Don't feel bad about having a totaliarian overseer as your govenment controlling your media. Georgia banned half the worlds websites - anyone with news that they were guilty of genocide that is. The US allows freedom until you get on the net, telephone, eat, drink, walk, crap or whatever life may bring. Once you are born a government will apply its will regardless of what system they may call it and the only free choice you have is to do as you are told.

All subjects of the queen remain her subjects and property to dispose of, so you are basically surrounded by people who control you no matter where you are.

Another thing to consider - onion routing (look it up.. it is for anonymous peer-to-peer networking) I believe there has been a better technology developed since, but not sure if it's had a mainstream release- I think it's called phantom protocol. Anyway, google "onion routing tor" and you should find plenty.

Just be careful in trying to bypass the Chinese firewall. The consequences if caught are not pleasant. If it is country-wide (as stated on some other forums), wait for some time to see if it is a temporary blockage. I've heard Godaddy has had problems with China in the past (possibly for its hosting service being used at one point for a human-rights site).

Here's a snippet from another site:
The chinese firewall is dynamic. One of things its does... is that your traffic has an unapproved keyword. When the routers detect this keyword they send reset packets which break the TCP connection. Once detected they will update their firewall dns to block the site for x amount of hours. This is how it works according to 2600 magazine. I imagine this is happening to you.

What a temperamental country China is - now that the Olympics have closed the gates to the west are closing in again. China has come a long way in the past 15 years and I totally understand their concepts of privacy and governance "although it's a regime", but blocking their people from "outside influences" sometimes verges on extremist.

DNOL, can't you use a VPN or at least a web based proxy to get through? I know GD is a damn slow site but it's got to be better than loosing your property over the coming months..
