Nope but we did get a nice deposit on a puppy. Apollo has been adopted.:)

It's a very active forum of bargain hunters - membership has skyrocketed the past year there. Some people are militant about bargain hunting, others it's a full time job while others just go there to try to help them get by.

Who was it asking the other day if it is worth developing a .net?

lol
Very nice forum!!
You are a member from years??

No but I know people who have been on there for years. I am on ther eevery day seeking out bargains on things I need, freebies, and other great deals.

And I was wrong, they're on 250,000-260,000

http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=369000&t=992021

If that site isn't the most successful non-.com out there is has got to be one of them. OK, maybe del.icio.us beats them.

I will think to register to that forum...very interesting!
Thanks for the link.

I'm sure the .net makes a lot more money.

I've noticed that when someone posts a link to an Amazon page, it adds in an affiliate ID, the same one for each link (hmm, goes to the owners?). The advertising revenue stream must be nice, too.

Carter - I think 95% of what is on there will pertain to American stores (mostly brick & mortar stores) in the forums but the front page usually has a lot of online deals (NewEgg, Amazon, etc..). The chat forums (the lounge) can get quite fun sometimes, too.

Although a forum I think most people here could have fun on is CustomersSuck.com (I love this site - I'm on there posting almost as much as I do here!).

Bebo sold for 850 million to AOL
bebo had 19 million visitors a month before it sold, compared to Plentyoffish’s 29 million a month.

How much do you think plenty of fish would sell for?

Why support a thread like this when there are plenty of threads where members are seeking help or assistance and get no responses.

To support this type of crap in hope of getting in Guiness Book for the longest, meaningless thread of no value, which contributes nothing, would not be something that i would want DNF to be recongized for.

imo...
