*Shakes head*

This guy talks exactly like the thief

As much as I feel like pooping down this person's neck I really need to step away from the keyboard and let the staff do thier job. I'm going for a coffee.

It seems the domain may have been hijacked and then it was let drop .

pomega's friend got it at tdman after it dropped. We will contact godaddy on Monday and try to find more info .

I'll wait the results ... Godaddy won't be much help in this.
They failed to retrieve it in the first place.

Thanks for being fair here Scorpio. It's pretty sad to see my domain listed for sale after being stolen

To be perfectly honest the right and ethical thing to do would be return the domain knowing it was stolen. I know any of the serious domainers here wouldn't hesitate if they knew a domain they purchased was stolen to save from it affecting future sales.

Wow.. he's so determined to sell a stolen domain name that he just refuses to return it.. Even if he bought it at TDNAM I also paid for this name.. and it was blantantly stolen which he now knows and still refuses to do the right thing regardless of whether he himself stole it.

I know if I bought a name and a member told me it had been stolen out of principle I'd instantly push it back upon proof of the theft and suck up the small loss just because it was the right thing to do. I'd rather lose the small amount of money that my integrity and principle especially like said when it come to future sales on this site.

In a nutshell stolen domains should not be allowed to be resold regardless of who ends up with them. I know if persay someone like DNP, or JP or someone bought a domain unknowingly at the time it was stolen and someone on DNF showed them it was they'd do the right thing just by reading thier posts.. Yet.. ah well .. my coffee's getting cold and I'm just amazed. Be back later.

Interesting.

If you're not the "owner" you shouldn't be selling it here.. and the owner or supposed new owner is also talking to me via msn refusing to return the domain.

www.webmatik.org/domain says (9:46 AM):
ID: 7921835 please search on tdnam.
[email protected] says (9:46 AM):
i dont care about tdnam
[email protected] says (9:46 AM):
its a stolen domain
[email protected] says (9:46 AM):
you had no rights to it to start with
[email protected] says (9:46 AM):
it's about principle as youll learn soon

Dude, the NEW owner did not STEAL it obviously...your issue is only with the original person that "took" it from you or charged back the payment, whatever..these people are not responsible. I understand how you feel, trust me I do but this guy is BROKERING it for the new legitimate owner, and quite frankly it's not his fault and nor should it be his loss imo.

If you say so Focus. You're basically stating that it's ok to resell domains that are known to be stolen then?

Also I believe you're not allowed to post domains you do not own except in the broker section correct?

I've even offered to give this guy (The owner) exactly what he paid at TDNAM for it just to aquire my domain back..

So far he's saying it doesn't matter what he paid for it.

If he won't sell it to me at that out of principle I'll just wipo him regardless of cost since this shouldn't be happening to start with.

This is seriously rediculous.

[email protected] says (10:10 AM):
how much did you pay at tdnam exactly
www.webmatik.org/domain says (10:12 AM):
it's not important how much i paid
[email protected] says (10:12 AM):
sure it is
[email protected] says (10:12 AM):
Ill give you exactly what you paid for it
www.webmatik.org/domain says (10:12 AM):
importand is how much aprasials this name
www.webmatik.org/domain says (10:12 AM):
1 min. pls
[email protected] says (10:13 AM):
like i said ill give you exactly what you paid for it to recover "MY" domain
[email protected] says (10:13 AM):
otherwise ill got a step further and wipo you regardless of cost if you simply refuse to work within principle
www.webmatik.org/domain says (10:21 AM):
http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=410969
www.webmatik.org/domain says (10:21 AM):
I don't see any reason why you couldn't eventually get $xxxx, or better, but you may need to wait for the right buyer.

www.webmatik.org/domain says (10:21 AM):
least $1000, hacked.cc (cyber-crime) very good
[email protected] says (10:22 AM):
I dont think so
www.webmatik.org/domain says (10:22 AM):
i mean name is more valuable
[email protected] says (10:22 AM):
Im just going to wipo you and get my name back
[email protected] says (10:22 AM):
and youll get nothign that way
www.webmatik.org/domain says (10:22 AM):
so, it's may be $250 for you
[email protected] says (10:23 AM):
either you sell it for what you paid back to me the rightful owner or you'll lose the name and any funds
www.webmatik.org/domain says (10:23 AM):
the last price only for you
[email protected] says (10:24 AM):
im not paying 250 for my own domain.. ill give you the tdnam price or ill just go ahead and wipo you.. or whoever you sell it to..
www.webmatik.org/domain says (10:25 AM):
so, you konw.
[email protected] says (10:26 AM):
Im a domain broker.. I know how everything works.. if I wipo you.. since the domain was stolen from me to start with.. Ill pay a set fee.. provide proof it was stolen.. youll lose the domain and all the money you paid for it.. so why not do the right thing and just sell it to me for what you paid and save yourself alot of gried
[email protected] says (10:26 AM):
er grief
www.webmatik.org/domain says (10:26 AM):
i want helper you but you raise diffculties
www.webmatik.org/domain says (10:28 AM):
i said, you know which way you want to use
www.webmatik.org/domain says (10:28 AM):
pay $250 or go wipo
www.webmatik.org/domain says (10:28 AM):
i'm trust me
www.webmatik.org/domain says (10:29 AM):
i havel all offcial document
[email protected] says (10:29 AM):
do you really think id pay 250 instead of wipo? this is about principle.. not money.. your documents mean nothing considering i can prove the domain was stolen before you ever aquired it
www.webmatik.org/domain says (10:29 AM):
whoever want buy this name, price is: $1.500 +
[email protected] says (10:30 AM):
yep and then theyll lose it
www.webmatik.org/domain says (10:30 AM):
i said only for you and only now $250
[email protected] says (10:30 AM):
and then you're the scammer selling a stolen domain
[email protected] says (10:30 AM):
my top offer is what you paid tdnam exactly .. this solves everyone's issue
www.webmatik.org/domain says (10:31 AM):
my last offer is that
www.webmatik.org/domain says (10:31 AM):
now you must to decide OK, or NOT
[email protected] says (10:32 AM):
my last offer is you cant sell this domain.. since ill wipo you or whoever buys it if you dont return it for the price you paid.. you're the scammer apparantly either way you look at this...

Please stop this talk about ethics etc. If I see one more post in this regard until Scorpio gets a word back from GoDaddy, I am going to lock this thread up and ensure that whosoever tries to drag it, either UDLTD or pomega, gets a ban.

Seriously folks, it looks like a kindergarten fight and that isn't professional at all.

Thanks for understanding and keeping your cool.

He's got until monday to sell me the domain at what he paid for it since it was MY domain. If he sells it in the meantime to some unlucky buyer they'll be dealing with the wipo sadly.

I've offered to refund his loss at cost for the domain and if he won't do the right thing knowing the domain was stolen from me then I've no choice but to go ahead and take him to wipo.

Common sense should dictate here but apparantly he feels he's entitled to sell a stolen domain to some unsuspecting buyer.

I'll be pm'ing Brett Lewis
