batman you close? Feel free to drop by or call him. I am trying to make sure I do everything the right way.

I am assuming this to be a younger guy.

His screen name was g-unit a rap group.

His email ends in flav as in flavor

So we know he is into rap music :)

if you remember the guys name that would help! :)

He is emailing me today!! Look what he wrote!!!!!

Because of you, I had my previous domain stolen from me at Yahoo's registrar when you sent me that payment making it look like Paypal was safe. So, I am tkaing this domain to make up for it. If you wish to hire an attorney, you go for it. I have no problem making this problem bigger than it already is.

I have no clue what he is even talking about?? This is wierd!!!! He admits to stealing my name!!!

look what he just wrote!!!

No, take it to court and we'll deal from it from there.

Is anybody tasking the satellite yet?

I urge Godaddy to undo the push. if it's legit he can redo, yes?

Can you put a legal lock jam on domains to warn registrars it's in concrete?

As other have said, call GoDaddy ASAP and offer to send the rep that email. They should be able to cancel the push for you.

(Oh yeah, and explain the situation to them, too).

Adam DOTCOMGOD is high ranked officer with GoDaddy.. I would inform him, if godaddy support fails to resolve the issue. Contact Adam.

I just wanted to thank everyone. I am proud and just so happy to tell everyone I just got the name back!!!!!

This dumbo was sending me emails all day stating I would never see the name again. I used it as ammo with godaddy. CC'd him on it.

We called, we emailed. Some of you emailed him..

He knew he was in a crap load of trouble!

I have now gotten back my domain and it is locked in my account!!

One for the good guys!

That's great to hear. You're lucky to get the domain back, most people never even have the chance to get it back. I'd chalk this one down as a major lesson learned (the only cost was some footwork and frustration).

Hopefully "G-Unit" also learned a good lesson, don't scam. Maybe the admins here should contact the admins on the other forum and get his IP address just in case he decides to make a visit here.

Good job to the others for helping out the OP, too.

Godaddy support is actually pretty helpful when dealing with issues like this. I had a little over 200 names stolen from me at one point and they managed to get them all back, even though they were pushed to a dozen different accounts.

Godaddy Will Do Nothing!!!

I wish you guys will give that up. I have spent the last week dealing with someone high up in Godaddy. Adam tried to help me by putting me in contact with them.

All they can do is recommend that you go to the courthouse and get an injunction first. Fax that to them. They will then put a freeze on the domain. Second you would have to file a claim in small claims court. If you get a ruling in your favor, then fax that to them.

If you can't do that, their hands are tied and your name is gone.

That is it.

That is the only choice you have unless you have $1500 to file a domain dispute.

If you think I am lying, then prove me wrong.

They can only help you with something like that. If you had your account hacked and names pushed to other accounts.

But if you push a name yourself, the party is over unless you do as I stated above.

Ask him... I don't know.

I am just stating my experience. If Godaddy helped him and didn't help me, then there is a problem. But I was dealing with someone who is over the people you talk with when you call. I was a little higher up the ladder.

But, just like you, I am am interested in just what rob did to get his name back as I have just about all the proof I can have to prove I was ripped.

Email [email protected] if it is within 15 days of the transfer I believe they can take action. Haven't tried this before myself but have called and asked GoDaddy about what to do in a situation such as this.

Not sure if anyone else has had experience with this so if my advice is way off please let me know.

Sorry to here that this happened. Good to know you were able to find-out who it is!
