@ David G, agreed... on 90% of these names in this thread. I cant speak for others, but I posted this last batch knowing it has very little parking juice. However I feel that my "WTB" names just posted may have some intrinsic value to domainers looking to start some middle man site or membership site. ... maybe at some point in the future if time permits I may do just that myself. It seems that you are speaking purely form a parking monetizing perspective.... and from that perspective I couldn't agree more.

Not really meant from that perspective but more from a typein and natural traffic aspect.

I agree most domains are not very good, even with development in mind. I think you can find better domains by trawling the droplists. But quality is drying out, fewer decent domains are dropping anymore. The never before registered stuff is seldom convincing.

@ David .. I get your point and agree. You talking about something like => Inflatable Water Slide.com. In my experience people can find the strangest intrinsic value in names. Things you and I gawk at, but they dont.

i hope this post isn't considered off topic..just trying to add to the conversation.

i think the idea of aiming for 'type in traffic' is a very old school thought and one that seriously needs to be revisited.

times have changed... all the biggest names in all the world - no one would ever naturally type those in
twitter, facebook, wordpress, ebay, flickr... the list is ENDLESS.. talk about generics all day long, but those are long gone and will never be had for any 'normal' person with a mid sized bank account... that's reality.

with social marketing the way it is - with facebook pages being advertised in print and tv MORE SO than websites...
...i think the days of 'expecting' heavy type in traffic are over... we push links now
.. and even then.. you have tiny url's that don't even show your domain name anymore whenever a link IS pushed.

i think the need for creativity in your branding has become much more a necesity these days and will only continue to be that way going forward.
just food for thought.

Well, not quite.
The type-in is still there, if you have the right domains you'll see.
The people who have poor domains with zero traffic, will declare type-in dead because they don't experience it.
Seeing is believing... :)

Even assuming type-in is dead (not true) the quality of the domain is still more relevant than ever, if only for credibility purpose.

Brandable:

....cue the marketing:

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -

"Make More Money"

visit:

M-PLOYMENT.com

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -

**side note... i know this doesn't mean too much... but whatever list you find, "Make" and "More" are two of the 'Top 100 Most Commonly Used Words' in the English vocabulary
('Money' normally ranks somewhere between 350 - 400)

Hello,

I had to take advantage of growing markets. Absolute branding of keywords for a new/young company. Researching other keywords for a client and found these: DigitalMarketin.com and VpsHostin.com

Co2Greenhouse/dotcom.....(CarbonDioxideGreenhouse)

Our plants love it and its becoming more popular everyday as excessive manmade co2 overpowers our natural environment.

HAPTIC / HAPTICS

Not all today, but within the past week or so
... still all hand regged

• eHaptic.com
• eHaptics.com

* e= Education - Haptics are going to be a big player in the future of education, from public schools to medical schools and even to help the blind be able to read a touch screen phone, imitating braille.
.
.
• vHaptic.com
• vHaptics.com

*v= Visual/Virtual
.
.
• HDHaptics.com

*HD = High Definition... also referred to as "Next Generation Haptics"
.
.
• HapticI.com

*I = Interface / Interaction
.
.

For those who do or don't know:
Haptics has been around a while but has only just recently begun to gain considerable momentum. Since we are not allowed to leave any links here, do a quick search on google or you tube to learn more about this great tech and how it's being implemented into most of today's and virtually all future tech. (you will probably get to know Haptics best in the next round of touch phones)

Haptics may never actually receive mainstream recognition (although, it still might), so these names are geared towards development companies.
