Either that or you are hyping .info up so you can move some on! :-/

Like I said, I'm putting my money where my mouth is. I've purchased over 1,000 .INFO names in the last 3 months -- some of them at over $1,000 each. That would be a strange thing to do for someone trying to divest ('move some on'), wouldn't it?

Oh... and I've spent over $500 on .info's at Snap auctions in the last 30 minutes!

That would depend on the level of sales against the level of investment not only in the snese of value but the quality of names....

Who is fighting?

Are any of you who bought .info's developing these names, or are you banking on a majority of others developing their names to bring up the value of yours?

Traffic will go to .info after there's something to draw users to the extention. I go to doctors.info and whats there? Nothing.

If by "investing" in the .info extention you've bought thousands of premium names to park with ppc, IMHO you're actually a good part of the reason why the extentions value is low.

I totally agree, and I'm trying to develop them all. I wish others would do the same.

It looks like Doctors.info was part of the .info TM fraud, unless someone has trademarked the term "doctors".

*Yes, I agree on the .info type-ins. I've seen a huge spike in my traffic.

*BTW, the trend of seeing TYPE-INS on .info seems to be climbing --

This is very reassuring. :)
I am also seeing a few type ins on .info domains.

nghenhac.info 10683 OVT w/ext
ibangteens.info 63 OVT w/ext
Songhai.info 2409 Ovt w/ext
offshorefta.info 167 OVT w/ext

Damn,
Some nice pickups you got there!

Thanks. And that's just the beginning of it. These were from a few days ago. You just have to be quick is all. .Info drops are becoming as competitive as any other domain drops now.

nghenhac.info 10683 OVT w/ext

I had to look this one up -- love the title of the old site: "Best of Collection Songs". I guess those whose be music sung by the guys as the repossess your car or demand payment? :)

I can't seem to monotize Vietnamese traffic so I didn't go for the Vietnamese names.

Its surprising the amount of traffic to the .infos. When I first registered one, I didnt think it would get any traffic. I've never owned any Vietnamese .infos, though Im sure they would receive traffic since that one has over 10K ovt w/ext.

Just want to comment out what I think about .info. My thought is that internet is not just for commerce. It is for information as well. Now which other tlds do you think can match .info?

I am acquiring a lot of .info myself and I am developing them. As a matter of facts, recently I have sold many copy of game script form mygamescript.com which my customer uses the domain .info. I think what hurts .info is that there were so many cheap promotions going on from registrars such as godaddy, registerfly etc. Many people decided not to renew them and therefore, they get dropped everyday. I see this as just another opportunity to grab more good .info names.

Eventually most of the good .info will be taken. And the price will only go up from there. I do expect to see this happen within the next few years to come.

Btw, who would expect that there are so many 6 figures sales for .com 10 years ago? Why don't you think this won't happen for .info by the year 2011?

I know I am going to get a lot of disagreement, but then again, I am optimistic about .info and I will continue to buy more and develop them.

I think the increase in sales is overdue and I hope to see more in the future...especially from me.
Wish granted.

I know this is an old thread, but its still useful.

Just wondering how many of you here are still on board.... I've switched most of my focus to the .info...

A few recent purchases include:

BloodCells.info
NorthVietnam.info
ColdRelief.info
PriorityMail.info
LateNight.info
GoldenGlobe.info
Seperation.info

Focus on developing... Its easy and cheap... Even if you just have to slap some content on there, it will attract more visitors, and keep more visitors then a parking page will.

I just launched CertifiedAppraisal.info and hope to have it fully completed within the next few days.
