You seem to have a buyer many times a week, and on here you say you have no clue about pricing... Why don't you just put prices on your website. By now you should have an idea of what you want out of each name.

I have not posted all my names on here.. I posted the names I am asking about now, before..

However if you read the past post, Then you will see I NEVER got a straight answer.. Thank you biddedon.. I mentioned your prices to them... Yes I do get buyers and NO I dont know how to price them yet.. IS that not what this forum is for???? It seems you ask more questions on forums then straigt Answers..

I would post my prices on my site, But it could ruin a bigger sale>>

I do appreciate the people out here that do give GOOD advice and those who dont, Well I know more than you think.. Maybe not about domains, But about a lot of other stuff..And what goes around comes around..

Thanks for DNFORUM for it has been a big help in my battle to learn domains.

Thank you

That is true, but what I'm saying is, for a faster sale, you may want to appraise a name on here before you are contacted about a sale....so just list all your names in appraisals.

SJP,
you should calm down alittle. If people do not put appraisals on your names they probably think that they are worthless. Besides one of the posters said "get whatever you can get from them". For my opinion those names that you say you have a buyer are worth reg fee or less.

PS: Yes you post majority of your names for sale here and you should get some idea how much they can worth.

http://www.dnforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6932

Oh by the way you were throwing some words from your gut about generic domains in one post. You even boasted someone who replied someone's post about generic domains that chefssalad.com is a generic name. If you know what is generic and what is not why do you have no idea about the price of your domains. If you think chefssalad.com is a generic name you should learn alot !

Ya know there are many places to list our Domains for sale so you shouldnt just assume the buyers are from here. I have sold a couple on other sites/forums.

If chefssalad.com is not generic, then PLEASE TELL ME WHAT A GENERIC NAME IS>>

Correct me if I am wrong, a generic name Is a name that does not contain any trademark infridgements,
Who in the world can own the name chefs salad,. For both of those words are dictionary words.
As far as were I sell them at.. Well I have not sold but 1 or 2 names here on the forum.

All my sales come from my own marketing. NEVER HAVE I CRIED WOLF>>>>>>>

I will rest with this, If you would like to sell some of your names, then you might better leave the DNF and do some marketing... There is a whole nother world out there besides the DNF..

BESIDES that correct me if I am wrong. But how can someone own a trademark on a dictionary WORD>>>>>>
It has been fought in courts and has lost..

PLEASE STAND TO CORRECT ME SINCE I SEEM TO KNOW NOTHING AND THROWING THINGS FROM MY CUT>>>>>

Thanks

Thank you big fart..

Yes I do know my clients, However I do get new ones every now and then..

But to clarify this.. I would say curiousTeen.com Is worth more than $100 or so ...

I guess I come to the forum for ADVICE... Yes I know how to sell and make prices,, I just taded a name for a $4,000 ROLEX...However there are some occasions I dont know..

I do thank you for your advice and I hope to be fluent in domains like you are 1 day,, But meanwhile some people need a hand in the value of there names..

I do know that this forum is hard to impress with names.. For names I could sell easily for $100 somewhere else, I could not get $25 out of here,, So I do know what you are saying.. I just come here to get a ball park figure.

I told that guy $450 for all three adult names,

curiousTeen.com
NudistLiving.com
NationWideSex.com

And I have not heard back from him.. I think $450 is cheap for those names.. However the guy did not respond.. SO that is why I am confused about the prices for domains.

I can go get a real appraisal from a company, however all the names end up being $100,000 or more.. We all know we are not selling curiousTeen for $100,000 unless to a wealthy idiot..

BUt I hope this explains why I am in search for Help.

Thanks

Well of course all my buyers are confidential..

Will you share your buyers with us at the forum..

I can tell you this.. I traded it off the site.

www.atlanticTime.com

I got the SS Rolex Submariner..

You are right about adult names, however It just seems to be the biggest seller right now.

I have sold and continue to sell alot of adult names.
See, this is what I dont understand.. We all now that the internet is going to lead to bigger and better things..
If you dont know then read the book

Roaring 2000 by Harry s DENT>

Anyhow, My opion is that;
Search egines will eventually be done away with.. I think here in the next few years, there are going to be so many websites, that you dont need a search engine.
I think that We are going to eventually start typing the whole search into our browser with the .COM ltd..

eg: Moneyforbills.com or Ineedsex.com or

Needainternetloan.com

I think there are going to be so many sites that why use a search engine..

I look for any and all comments on this issue

Thanks and good luck

I am the one that is on the train..

Well acutally I just got a certified appraisal on the Rolex and it came in at $4250.00 to be exact... That should tell you if it will turn green or not.

As far as my opion on the internet..... Well you can wait and see what happens...//////////....,,,,.../////

The internet is only as good as you make it..

And not only that, I do Sell domains full time and make a very good living at it..
So I guess that would be I know a little about the net... But I do wish you luck and I do appreciate your opion and respect it.

I would just recomend to read books and to read on the net and you will see where it is going..

I do appreciate the posts and I thank you

Have a blessed day

not sure if you are confusing your self but in the uk "quid" is the common term/slang for one pound sterling (as in a single uk pound) which is currency not silver. (equivalent to about 62 u.s. cents)

It may may be a term that can apply to silver as well but I have never heard of its use in england and as far as i know england is where the term quid was derived.

Just thought i should forewarn you of the fact to stop you potential doing a bum deal.

sjp I think you are on the wrong train. As far as you views on the future of search engines is concerned, you are talking utter nonsense. The fact that the number of websites will explode, from its current high level, in the future only underlines the need and necessity for quality search engines.

I do love all the feedback.. However I still stick to my belief about the Future of the internet..

Well If I am wrong, I can tell you that search engines are going to be worthless. I have to say is I go to the browser before search engines..

I could be way off, But I think there will be another advertising medium besides search engines.

Good Luck

Search engines are here to stay is my strong opinion, but then who knows what the future holds. I may be right or you may be right - only time will tell. It's good to hear other peoples frank opinions - that's why this site is so valuable.

Wow Thank you big fart..

I guess the guy was trying to pull something over on me.

I would love to hear all the opionions on this matter.

What do you think the internet will do..? which way do you think it will turn???

I dont know the future, I can only go off what I read..

But I do love opionions and I would like to debate about the future of the internet.

I am all ears..

Good Luck
