Hello to everyone!

While we as individuals are not new to dnforum.com, our company as a whole is.

Bido.com has just been launched, and since dnforum is one of the biggest gathering places for domain industry professionals, we wanted to have a presence here.

There is alot of information and knowledge here, and we hope to participate in the discussions and add to it as we can.

Kind Regards,

Sean Stafford

Welcome Sean!

I wasn't aware that you can have individual and corporate accounts on the forum.

Thank you much, Doug ;)

Welcome Sean!

I wasn't aware that you can have individual and corporate accounts on the forum.

Hopefully it's not a problem. :) Almost everyone on Bido.com has accounts at DNF. It's kinda hard not to when your dealing with one of the biggest domain forums on earth.

Bido.com is very new and our personal accounts predate it. However, as to not get confused with our other efforts (individual projects or different projects entirely) we thought it would be best to have a single corporate DNF account.

Hopefully it's no issue. If so, I apologize to Adam in advance!

Thanks!

Sean

Not sure about a rule but don't see why it would be a problem? I am sure if the company has an account (for business purposes) such as Afternic, NameMedia, WildWest, BuyDomains, Fabulous.com, Godaddy.com or whoever, that some officers or key employees also have accounts at the same forum.

I see a lot of iStockPhoto on the website. I only recognize it because I too have used the same illustrations.

Welcome!

Our graphics guy, Eric, is really good. I'm pretty sure he uses istockphoto for the images. We hope you like the site!

Thanks,

Sean

Hi Sean

I hope that you don't have an individual account and plan on using the "Bido" account as well.

This can be confusing and members are only allowed "one" account.

Imagine if everyone here started an entity and wanted to have the same priviledge.

Also, any further announcements concerning your site should be posted in "Advertising and Related offers" section.

Perhaps once your site becomes established in the domain community, you can petition the forum for your own section.

Thanks again and Good Luck!

Welcome to the forum Sean.

I have nothing but great things to say about you, Sahar, Jeff etc.

If you wish, I will setup a Bido subforum here for you to promote your auctions.

All the best with your new ventures.

I reg'ed today.

Nice to see the site is live.
Only one a day is a nice focus.
Makes me think of woot.com

I like that sellers are covered on ALL Domains they try and sell.
Auction Rules:
#2 "All Domians listed are with NO RESERVE but have guaranteed minimums meaning if a $800 guarantee amount is only bit to $500, Bido.com will cover the difference less the commission"

House Rules:"Bido may submit one bid for the companies guaranteed price at any point during the auction"

Based on the above, The Domain owner is Guaranteed to make a sale already knowing his/her predetermined amount.
Sounds like a Win/Win for sellers knowing they have that guarantee in their pocket.

Hey Adam,

Thanks for the warm welcome. I have always appreciated being part of DNF, and for Bido to NOT have a presence here -- would be tragic.

And yes, we would love a subforum!

Our entire team gives you, and your team here at DNF, a huge THANK YOU!

Regards,

Sean
