95% of startups funded by VCs and BAs don't survive and just a small number of them make profits, so, the reality of fact shows that ideas don't need to be perfect to be funded and that 95% of business plans FAILED, so, why write one of them?

it's easy to understand if, a good idea, actually IS a good idea, there is no need to "predict" its revenue, profits, costs, employees, etc. if 99% of times the REALTY will be completely different!

also big companies like Google or Microsoft has invested (and lost) million$ in projects that looked "perfect" on paper but failed after the impact with the reality

so, WHY, only MY ideas MUST be PERFECT to be funded???

.

one further way to try to fund my projects is to sell enough t-shirts and gadgets with my zazzle.com online store, as explained in this zazzle.forum thread:

http://forum.zazzle.com/misc/the_first_t_shirts_gadgets_funded_startups

what do you think about?

very first reply is what he need, if he can read

in other words, you're saying me, that, since I'm not Steve Jobs or Elon Musk, I can't try to find funds to develop my projects

so, FIRST of all, I must become rich and famous like them, create a big company like their own, THEN you allow me to seek funds for my projects... :)

for those who want to know some of my ideas or some of my right IT predictions (and, maybe, want to invest on my innovative projects) just take a look at these articles:

I am always impressed by the entrepreneurial spirit and mind.

It doesnt matter that one takes one direction or the other, so much as it matters that one with such spirit never gives up and learns from their efforts, fruitful or not.

So, gaetanomarano, you may find that your ideas may not be well accepted here, nor may you find interested investors here, but you will find that if you keep trying and thinking of new ideas, one day you may eventually succeed.

Good Luck, and keep it up.

.for those who want to know some of my ideas or some of my right IT predictions (and, maybe, want to invest on my innovative projects) just take a look at these articles:

I spent some time reading around on your websites and it's clear that you are no dummy. Matter of fact, you remind me of someone I used to know, a man in his 50s who used to fascinate me for hours with stories of his scientific projects and interests. He looked like Doc from the "Back to the Future" movies. Today, he is the president of a successful company that sells electronic equipment (his invention) and he actively participates in space projects in which his company contributes resources to.

The difference between you and him is that he went after his ideas like a fever and did not stop feeding & growing his dreams until they became a reality. He simply found a way around the mental road blocks that told him he couldn't.

You are no exception. If you truly believe in your ideas (and it's clear that you do) then you need to spend time fostering them and less time trying to convince others of their worth. I was told once that nobody will care as much about your ideas, inventions, business, website, etc more than you do and its true. Therefore, you need to be a good caretaker. The value in your ideas will speak for itself via your work and that is when people notice and are inspired by these things. Not by bumping your thread several times in a row or continuously arguing with people who try to steer you in the right direction nor by believing that lack of an investor is the end all of what you are trying to do.

Good luck.

unfortunately, things changed from '50s

in the past Bill Hewlett and David Packard have founded HP starting from a wave generator built in a garage, but now ideas aren't enough to start a company without funds because all new startups must compete with hundreds big companies that are already on the market

however, find some advertisers for my Domainers Gate directory could be a good start! :)

You got to wait until they expand. or You can get someone from U.S. with a valid bank account to pitch your idea.

but many US websites are very slow in their expansion

I'm waiting from over one year to use the Scribd Store that's still open only for US citizens

and also the italian site of Amazon has opened its web-doors just... today! :worried:

The man is in his 50's.... I don't think NameHoney is relating a story from 50+ years ago...

Why would your Domainers Gate directory be worth investing in?
First "domainers" is a tiny market when it comes down to it IMO.
You indicate you have a business plan/ business model care to share that?

I can not believe this thread is still going on. Oh, wait...yes I can. Because the OP wants to argue every point of advice given but does not want to heed the advice.
