You may be full time or part time domainer.

How do you orgainize your time for domaining?

Do you do domaining randomly or you have proper organized time allocation for domaining? e.g scanning, promoting, exploring in forums etc... ?

I usually do domaining randomly but I do certain things on daily basis. eg. exploring forums , looking at domain news etc...

i used to devote six hrs. a day just researching the "original Overture tool"

since it died, i only spend a couple of hours a day name hunting.

I buy cheap names when people are sleeping and sell them back when they are all awake.

that's a good one John

I wake up at 10 in the morning (like now) and login at DNForum.

I drink a coffee and smoke a cigarette thinking about some domains I want sell today.

After that I start to send hundred mails to endusers and I go like this until I go to sleep at 3 in the morning.

I make a break from work for lunch (1 hour) and for dinner (2 hours).

I have my laptop windows like this: windows mail, dnf, sedo, afternic, namejet, domaintools, a google page where I investigate about companies I will contact.

I don't read domain news often and if I read some news I read DNGator of Acro.

Usually I'm working with the Teletubbies songs in the background all day and my daughter every 10 minutes come in my room to play with toys :D

Yeah for me this work is fun.
The only negative side of domaining at home is have 1000 distractions and you need to be focus and productive or your business day finish at 12 am.

I forgot to say in the afternoon I play with my Playstation 3 for some time when I need inspiration :D

Oh and I'm listening rap music at very high volume until I will go to sleep.

I'm lookin' to buy a new home soon so I can work in the garden with a beer on the table and the wind on my hair :D

I hope your neighbours can't hear your loud music. Otherwise they will make your domaining harder. :)

I see. I hope your new house is a bit far away from your neighbours so that you can play game or music loud.

Carter, Do you have any luck with the end user contacts. I would like to try but don't think I know enough to explain how it could help them.

Slacker!

I wake up at 6:30am. Immediately start coffee or shower and start developing in the morning and domaining along the way. 5pm, I cook dinner, spend time with family, clean, etc. 8pm I'm back developing until about 10-11pm. Then I study. And finally conk out sometime after that.

Aw. That's really sweet. I'm guessing your daughter is about 2-4?

I hate the teletubbies lol.

Sounds like my schedule.

But I break off and study a bit when I find a cool new tool, app, etc and do a little investigating to see how I may use it.

Been self employed via the web since 2001... I work in 18 hour straight bursts, then unwind with weights and movies for about six hours, then sleep again for 14 hours... I get sick with a minor cold every six years, so I think I'm extremely healthy... who knows though...

Sounds like you are early riser and you work hard. For me, I like to stay in bed upto around 8:30 if possible as I go to bed late mid night. On week days, got to get up around 7:30 to prepare to go to work. Check PMs or emails while at work. Got back home after 5 pm and start some domaining.
