I am curious as to how they're able to obtain domain sale prices/dates/venues from their multiple sources. Do they have partnerships with all of venues (i.e API access to data) or are they simply employing some sort of a crawling script to scrape data?

Crawling is really easy and relatively cheap, that's something I can guarantee. Besides, you don't expect them to come out and say "Yeah, we're grabbing data using bots although EULA almost always prohibits that", do you?

I think they collect data from some crawling, Public sales data that are available in social media and marketplace page.
Some buyer/seller can inform them about the sale with proof.

Some it is crawling and API access.
