Be honest and state either invest or waste and why do you believe there is good future for this extension?

Also, how many of you did provide FAKE address so you can register the names and what is the chance that you will lose the name when they found out you provide false information.

No personal attack - Just stating the pros & cons so other members don't make the mistakes.

Thanks all.

Hey Johnn,

I couldn't get the domains i actually wanted. So the only .asia i actually registered was my name. It cost roughly $54. You have to register for two years. Also i ended up using a website that provides a CED. So no fake information was necessary. The only problem with this was that you had to spend an additional $5 per year. So $19.99 per year + $5.

Overall, i think it was a waste.

007names.com provided the CED and I spent a grand total of $20.

The extension didn't appeal much to me in the first place. Wanted to register my company names' short forms, but they are not available as I am being told, they've put it on auction and are not available. So I have spent USD 000.00 so far

Hey John,

I put my hands up m8, i think i wasted about $1000.
but i have managed to snag a few gems that i found in the crap.

and I will possibly end up spending another $20k on the mutiple auctions and snag myself a few more nasty domains.

Big fat Zero.....

I learned my lesson the hard way wasting my money on .eu and others... Won't do it again.

I personally think this, .asia, is useless, like .cat for a language? Seriously, to what degree and how far to we go with this? Do all American Indians need their own TLD space?

I wouldn't mind a .web, or some others that would provide a functional use for the global populous.

nobody knows how .asia will pan out - some people actually think asia is a country??

and yes .web would be the obvious domain extension

asia internet market will be bigger than the u.s. in less than 3 years - based on reports so its worth a punt
