the name has around 80,000 OVT without extension

2 words no hyphen

google results are 1,800,000

but unfortunately it is dot.net

i want to know how much you would pay without feeling you overpaying alot for that domain

the seller refused to disclose the traffic stats and revenue

I offered him 1,000 $ but he refused it

please help me as it is the first time to buy a name in that price range

at least someone tell me the maximum I should pay

thanks

I would not give him anything without seeing the stats , can't imagine why the seller would not show the stats if the domain is producing , the stats would only add to the sale if they were good, only my opinion.

The seller is one of Big guys who don't answer when you ask for traffic as per my experience for some domains before

That has mean nothing if you do not see it w/overture. That mean something but not totally mean everything. You have to see the traffic stats but that has not mean everything the traffic can be manupulated. The best thing is tell the seller change the nameservers to your check the traffic for a week and its origin then you will say something.

I hope this helps but if it is not helpful buy the name and if the seller tells the reality you are ok but if he is not call it experince.

I wouldn't care who it is , first off its a .net and secondly the only relation you can find to the traffic is the overture without extension , that would not convince me to buy it at this price.

You will probably be paying 5+ years revenue, assume this without seeing the stats.

thanks for reply but i need to hear numbers like minimum and maximum

these are examples of similar names and have similar results at OVT and google

domainhost.net
imagehosting.net
businesshome.net
healthproduct.net
freecasino.net

the domain is not among these but i believe it is closer to them in value

OK, in my opinion these are $500 domains without any stats to to prove otherwise, good luck with your purchase.

I think with $1,000 you are in the ballpark.

If it's a .net it doesn't matter what overture and google
say, the .com version would get all the type in traffic.

It does show that it is a popular two word term, so
if you are going to develop the site and market it,
that helps.

You might not want to say here, but you have to think
what is your interest in this name. If you have a great
business idea that totally suits this name and you expect to
make good revenue with it, you might be willing to pay higher.

If you are just buying it to resell, then you aren't as motivated to
pay a high price.

Good luck!

You could also post in the 'domains wanted' thread to ask
for similar domains, and maybe end up with a better .com
name for your budget.
