I have been asked by a domainer to change "Aname " of my domain to test the unique visitors himself.

He gave the number like 234.234.23.23 (example) .

I don't know how to change it. How is it different from ns1... or ns2.... etc...?

Actually it is done at the dns server. In a nutshell, and I might be slightly off here: An A record is a name record for your domain. You can have multiple A records, such as mail.domain.com, subdomain.domain.com, etc. You also can have other types of records, such as MX (mail exchanger for email servers), PTR (Reverse DNS pointer record), etc. By pointing the A record, this would allow you to send the web traffic to the testers server without necessarily having to point your email, subdomains, etc to them.
