What is pathetic about the bank is that the bank gave up on rights to other marketing tools ei domains and phone numbers that were worth fifty thousand or more. Yet they worry about a small domain name. They are such a large corporation, none of the employees really pays attention to all their domain names and other marketing tools. HSBC just lets these things expire.
Having delt with them, HSBC is a bunch of control freaks and most of the employees are too scared to think independently or take action that might be in the company's best interest.

Whois-Search said:Say they can have it for $2000 (lower than their fees would be) and put an Intellectual property disclaimer (say we only sell generic names) on the bottom of the email.
Also don't link to anything the "Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank Corporation" sells which you are doing at the moment.
