I see Price and under option there is Buy Now.
I checked a couple and put in my cart now. The total is around $25,000.
If someone would send me the money then I can complete the transaction.

There is an option to buy it at the PRICE listed. That is not a "bin", any more than a purchase of cereal at the grocery store is a "bin".

BIN is a term only used when there the buyer allows lower offers.

In our industry there is a widely held assumption that prices are negotiable.
That isn't always true.

It's true that while Buydomains focus on small biz, they welcome business from domainers too, and I have been able to negotiate discounts, or submit a bundle offer for 2 or 3 domains.
They are flexible on pricing, even when you are acting in end user capacity (not posing as a domainer).

On the other hand, I have set a BIN on a certain number of domains for liquidity and speedy, no-fuss transactions. It's take it or leave it, I don't want to haggle any further on price.
Perhaps that's the way HD operate.

1, no reason to hang up unless totally absurd pricing such as XXXX off from asking price-- and even then, it would be an "I'm sorry, but your price doesn't meet our criteria for selling this domain. If you can't [meet in the middle or] pay for the full price, I am going to have to let you go as I have other customers to deal with. Thank you for your time. (Click)"... Not "no" and hang up.

2, the domain was listed for $1250, I asked on my first O/CO [CO = hang up] $1100 which I thought was fair as I prepared a list of domains totaling ~$20k that aren't "premium" per say, but wanted anywhere from $0-$3000 discount for a bulk purchase. Now that the domain has interest, he stuck it up for $1600 making my $1100 look like a lowballing tire-kicker before continuing down the list.

Andrew may be a big player in the game, but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s unprofessional and someone will replace him sooner or later because he does not know how to treat customers… Maybe if he owns 300,000 premium domain names and making "millions", he should hire a sales representative that has phone etiquette and also get a better phone system or learn how to mute because I could hear him breathing heavily after calling him back (thought it may have been an error) through the phone menu (Press 1 for HMMMMGMMMMM, Press HHMMDMMMMMGGGHHHM 2 for).

This guy does not mess around, I have been following him for a few years, when I started noticing him grab up all the secondary drops. A better strategy may have been to list all the names you wanted, let him give you a price, since you are in the 5 figure range at this point, and his cost of acquisition is low, he would have more room to move on $20K, rather than $1K, seems like your conversation never got to that point. He does process credit card orders straight from his site, so to say you are willing to pay right away, would have given him motivation to move. I can only imagine with him nearing probably close to 1M names, how many time wasters he gets on a daily basis. If you guys take your 1000 names or so, and the amount of low ballers you get, this guy must be upto his eyeballs in them, so I have to give him respect for standing his ground, and respecting the value of his domain, and his business. I would not consider that unprofessional. Yes, I would say you were talkng to the owner, as Andy, would be an nice cover for Andrew. If you really have an issue, take your $20K, and go over to namejet, and beat him on the drops...

Thanks for reinnovating the term BIN, now when I go to eBay and see a "Buy it Now" label I know I can send them a message that their price is too much and they are willing to go lower.

Or am I missing who coined the term BIN first, half.com/eBay or you?

... and now it's clear why people hang up on you.

And now it's clear you can't navigate a website. Maybe HD is hiring.

Mods, close this thread. It's dead and clear that everyone does business differently. Nobody else has to chime in with smart remarks such as stating a telephone is hard to operate or their businesses definitions of technical words.

Point made, HD is unprofessional.

Thanks
