It was a Commodore 64, and the keyboard was dark brown. One day almost 20 years ago, after returning from the store with my new 300 bps modem, I dialed my first BBS. When it asked me for an alias, I looked down, and there was the SHIFTLOCK key. And that is what I have used since. I still have that SHIFTLOCK key - it was on my keychain for a while, and now it's mounted on my desk.

Shiftlock, you remind me of the days when I first put my hands on an Apple IIe clone (made in Taiwan or Japan?) that a friend loaned me for 3 weeks during the summer. Those were the days ...

I'm planning to buy a Commodore 64. I have an Atari 1040ST already.
