This may piss off you typo people.. but since it only works with things already in your favorites... maybe not.

Ad any site to your favorites, from there on out, you can simply type in "google" (lets say) in your addy bar and it will bring you to the webpage in your favorites. no .com needed.

or as another example:

I have my "bot" in my favorites. the url is http://www.pandorabots.com/botmaster/en/custom-html?botid=ab4697b30e345dcc but the title it is called in my favs is "R5 pandora botmaster", I can type in the addy bar "R5 Pandora" or just "R5" and it takes me to the above noted addy

Do you type the title of the boomark or just the URL it gets?

you can do it either way. the title of the bookmark or the main name of the domain. so "google" will take me to my adsense account instead of the search page since adsense is bookmarked in my favs.

you have the most recent release of 7 correct? not 7.2P, but the open beta from the main explorer download page?

Onlyother reason I could think of would be

1) Developer tool bar I have installed
2) live favorites
3) msn toolbar

other than that, I am sure this PC is set up just like virtually any other out there
