It would seem that there are more than an adequate number of location suggestions. Recognizing that there is a semi-annual Traffic conference, why not turn your comments towards what you would like to see at the conference in terms of:

Topics:

Speakers:

Format: Just a trade show, just a conference, both, or some other mix

Networking activities:

Realistic cost that you would be prepared to pay for the event (not including travel related expenses)

Yes.

SAN DIEGO!

- NEVER has hurricanes
- NEVER has cold weather/snowfall (in city/coast,except rare flurry)
- RARELY has significant rain (95% of storms in winter)
- LOTS of area things to do (Bars, Sea World, Disney, Hollywood, Mexico)
- LOTS of free wifi hotspots
- EASY/FREE parking in most of city
- GOOD AIRPORT, easy to fly to, many major airlines
- Several convention areas

And yes, I'll be at Pubcon.com in Las Vegas next month

Chicago would work for me. I live about 2 hours away from Chicago. I could attend it in any of the surrounding major cities as well. If in Chicago I suggest the Rosemont convention center because its 10 minutes away from O'hare Airpport.

So has anything been decided yet?

I am willing to hold a FREE conference if we can get enough people to attend.

I am open to any city that would get the most people to attend.

We could even do 2 or 3 small ones across the globe if we wanted.

eg, Toronto , Las Vegas and London.

We could also post a poll to see what city would get the most attendees.

Sure, anywhere as long as it isn't prone to travel problems (like snow, ice, and hurricanes).
