Options->General Settings->Load last portfolio file on load

Check that and it will always load.

Thanks,

Luc, I just sent you an email about the Could Not Connect To Database error. I cant even download DRT from your site.
---edit---
n/m..you replied

My DRT tries to update itself to 2.0.5 and is stuck in an endless loop not being able to locate or overwrite some file. Where can I email you a screenshot of the error?

Acro, I have been getting that same thing for days. I just block the update through the vista firewall thingamabob untill Luc gets it fixed.
Luc, Love the top notch speedy support Bud! :)

It's the first time I am using it this week. Luc, please provide a solution. Thanks.

same thing happens with me as well...This is because of the path of the installation and the path that it is actually looking for...

Try installing it in C drive in program files and run the update...worked for me...

I run Windows Vista 64bit and the default path is:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Domain Research Tool\DRT.exe"

I did not specify a different path. It's the software that assumes I am using a different location.

Luc, please provide a fix as the software is unusable to me at this moment.

I assume you are running Vista. I found exactly the same problem. I submitted a ticket but received no reply. Found that running DRT as administrator worked.

That's correct, simply run it as administrator (DRT.exe file properties -> Run as administrator). You only need to do this once. Note, running as admin and being logged in as admin and clicking on it are two different things

Vista has a lot of "security" features that break just about everything. I recently downgraded all office PCs back to XP (for free, thanks to microsoft) because Vista is an unbelievable piece of junk.

Gooster, I never received your e-mail. Possibly it was blocked by my spam filter which requires verification first time you e-mail me.

Thanks,
Luc

That didn't work, Luc.

Anyhow, I uninstalled the software, downloaded the new version and re-entered my serial number so we're all set.
