You could search Google for wales.com then start counting.

done it 1000 (probly 40) odd, but not a true estimate..

there used to be a tool at demon.net to get this info.... ie other domains hosted on the same box?

but to repeat my other question is anyone else doing this..

HomePage.com - before it went bust - had an auction page for it's member's to sell their subdomains. My.HomePage.com went for $70 but that was a few years ago.

whois.sc has a feature that tells you every domain on a IP not sure if the subs show up though.

This website sure know how to make use of 2 letter country names for selling subdomains:

Looks like it's a rental scheme for the owners, or else they buy 2 letter country names abbrev.

I've never actually done it. And most cases i would say there is no real market for it except in rare cases.
