Is Google going crazy after Penguin update?

One site that is close to Adam doesn't even come up on my searches on google...USAcordbank.com Can't find it at all when I Google the exact term "USA Cord Bank"

Panda and Penguin have been pretty devastating. The fact that one came right after another did not really allow for any adoption or changes from publishers.

What other choices are there?

It's just part of doing online business nowadays. The more aggressive they're going to get with updates, the more inevitable it becomes that innocent websites will take a hit. Diversification is key.

I had a site wacked by Google over the weekend, loosing several keywords, and going from 350-400 unique visitors per day to 125-150 per day, starting on Saturday morning. Really sucks and hard to keep-up with the constant changes! Not sure what I'd change anyway or if it's even worth the time, knowing that Google is tweaking its algorithms all of the time. Made it through Panda/Penguin, but got pinched this time.

Until they release the next animal name update...probably Possum. They're known for hanging upside down with their tail and playing dead until they finally do get run over by a car and they become possum pancakes.

I don't think it is crazy.. I think they are trying to re-start internet business.. For the long time EMD based websites had the upper hand over the the high quality non-EMD sites..

First it was the DOMAIN
Then it was the CONTENT
Now it is the BRAND and it cost a lot of money to build the brand
