This is getting really scary people ... this is a peek at how religious governments start applying moral laws and moral police and morals punishments..is it any wonder governments are overthrown

The halftime show SUCKED ..the NFL is already "outraged" and wont be hiring MTV again anytime in the near fuure ..let our free market system work.. the people have already flooded the NFL and Viacom with their outrage and tens of thosands wont buy their products.. the system works ..

keep the government out of it..for the sake of everyone.

Once again you are in control ..turn the channel

Isn't that why governments often get involved - a sudden lurch to follow popular opinion?

Hey guys, let's not let this turn into a big political argument.

Talking about boobs and bad music is MUCH more fun! :cheeky:

Actually, nothing is wrong with it. NFL Commissoner Mr. Tagliabue is receiving enormous pressure because this was sanctioned fully by the NFL. What else is he going to say.

I thought the show was entertaining, even though I was being asked surprising questions from the neighbor kid.

The complaints / complainers are way in the minority, however have the loudest voice. Most americans could care less about this.

So you are speaking for the silent majority then?

There was an Espn poll last night -- It was about an 80% did not care to a 20% cared split.

We have uncut movies on TV now. Just watch TBS or TNT.

Do you hear people complaining when they show showed Sipowicz's nasty ass on NYPD? That show was on at 7:00 at night. Give me a break.

LOL! So.... 80% of all the ESPN bubbas don't care. They just wanna drink their Bud and watch boobies! :cheeky:

PS-> what about the other 93% of the country?

Besides domains, I'm also in the entertainment industry, and I think this hit a new low point. It was produced by MTV, and was totally lame. The worst half-time show ever! A dishonor to America, the NFL, and the players who worked so hard to get there.

Janet Jackson (weren't we over her long ago?)
P-Diddy (huh???)
Nelly (apparently has a SEVERE case of Jock-Itch, and needs singing lessons)
Kid Rock (believe it or not- the high point)
and
Justin Timberlake????? (maybe as part of his too-famous group, but solo??)

And then just to add some sour mustard to the moldy ice cream, Timberlake rips off part of Jackson's top- revealing the bare truth- that she ISN'T Michael Jackson, as some have suspected, LOL!

Compare that to the short, dignified pre-show. It included an amazing, animated performance by the Univ. of Houston Marching Band, the amazing singer Josh Grobin's moving tribute to the dead Space Shuttle Columbia's astronauts, and Beyonce's incredible rendering of the USA's national anthem. That was very classy, and made the cheap, trashy half-time show seem that much worse.

Maybe I'll stick to basketball. :-(

LOL! So 80% of the people who watch ESPN are Bubbas... One thing is for sure, If these people were in tune with Espn the day after, it can be reasonably assumed they watched the game.

You can also draw some statistical conclusions from a 200,000 vote poll.

How do we draw conclusions from 7 or 8 people at a domain forum....

Too bad it mainly concerns ESPN viewers then as they were the ones watching it!

Back to the topic though, I think the question here is NOT Janet Jackson's breast but what Spike Lee has rightly criticized as a "new low" of attention-getting antics by entertainers, citing also the Madonna-Britney stunt as a decline in artistry.

Huh? But this is not an American issue. It's about statistics ... which I know a thing or two.

EDIT: BOLD
