Ok, they could be listed on some dictionaries.
You can put them on a Scrabble board.

In this case (ganken.co.jp), "ganken" is a shorten word of "gan" shokumotsu "ken"kyusho. It is not a pure word.
If you want to own a domain for eyelid, you can register "mabuta.com" right now.
"mabuta" is the general Japanese word of eyelid.

Anyway, I just tried to help understanding Japanese.
Thank you for your understanding.

I think there's a difference between "crapping" in someones sale thread, and pointing out something which is incorrect or misleading (intentionally or not).

For example, if someone posts some "Fantastic Domains" it is not right to question why they are fantastic, or state they are worthless (a la Drewbert). It is purely the sellers (and buyers!) opinion. However, if someone posts a domain and says it has a link-pop of 10000 when it clearly doesn't, I think it's fair to comment.

I don't claim to speak Japanese, so I can't say whether it's a real word or not. I can confirm that Mohno resides in Japan, so if he says it's not a real word..

I will comment precisely because I am Japanese.

DrWho is not making any mistake.
He wrote "Japanese single word .COM's"

I don't think that they are (Japanese) dictionary words.

About "Ganken", mohno wrote wrong.
This is Japanese that is in a dictionary. Exactly.
Ganken -> Iron health

About "Sontai", the judgment is difficult.
This word is not in the Japanese dictionary.
But this Japanese word exists. It is the word of a religion relation.(Buddhism)

Beachie and GiantDomains, I agree to both opinions.
It is natural to think so.

See, that's why I love this community - we all worked together, solved the question, everyone's cool.

Now someone buy this fine name from the Doc. It means Iron Health for gosh sake!

Yeah?
Wanna buy ALBANIANBANK.COM ?

Did someone buy the Japanese DNs?

Sorry, DrWho and everyone.
I didn't intend to confuse here.
You could think unusual words are not in a dictionary, I think.
