I am reluctant to step in this quicksand. However, I can not go without expressing my agreement with Domain Retriever.

It has been obvious to me for a long time that with WLS, BD and ULt will buy every slot for the first and second tier names. And, the rest of us will be stuck with names that most of us would normally pass on. And, if we buy them. We will not be able to profitably develop the names nor sell them.

So, one to two years later, we will be totally gone from the market.

Who, what, whaa? So I'm not the only one with this "mad WLS
theory?". :-D

I'm glad others see it the way I see it. In time, we will know
for sure.

Don't forget .INFO and .BIZ and .US and .EU, act. Sleeper now with prices low low NOW, but with huge conversion probabilities in the coming years.

The drop game was slowing being choked by the powers that be, you know it, I know it. It's way past the 6am dream of 4 years ago, where Yun Ye and the Koreans were catching moolah falling from heaven. Move on.

The current system works better for me than ever before.

If it didn't work for me, I wouldn't be sitting here complaining
about NW not catching my $8.50 drops, I'd be looking for a new job.

LOL.... I am not complaining about them missing my $8.75 drops.. the main point was the other stuff with Snap & godaddy. I just added that because I found it funny that the name had no snap & I had the NW & godaddy & yet I still didn't get it.

Didn't really bother me; the other names did.

WLS is a cheaper version of the snapnames system with a guarantee for the name. Expect the big players to invest booku dollars in this. Expect many businesses to capitalize by going direct to the owner. Domain prices should begin to rise nicely. Hold onto your collections and cash in. Once it is gone, it's gone.

If WLS shows itself efficient, it will be implemented on all extensions by all registries.

The only thing I like about wls is that the system is fully accessable to you and I hope they would have professional staff in place. With the current system, you don't have any access to the domains caught by private registrars of Name Administration etc. and to drop clubs that are operated by folks who don't even bother answering emails like Harold. The current system operates like a bazaar with many bazaar people running it.

Once wls comes along, all 'private' dropclubs along with their unprofessional staff will be eliminated and the game will be more professional and neat and thus more enjoyable.
This is very important cause it's pretty wrong when bigger guys who have an abbility to pay for the comfort, have to deal with this bazaar. This is partly explains why with the current system Ult, BD, Name Admin, and probably ELE use only few dropcatchers - those that are professinal.

Harold definitely answers his emails. Perhaps it's your approach?

Harold doesn't reply emails, not only my emails, that I no longer send after 2 or 3 of them weren't answered, but other's emails as well.
He probably think he/his service is so important because he has guys like you who kiss his butt.
Whatever.
