Hi, it is super impressive seeing that there are so many veterans of domain industry still getting DNF system emails.

About the design (no offence, of course) > any suggestions? .. too clustered, or something else? tx

Very odd I hadn't received any other email notifications from DNForum until today.

Sending out a system message to all users comes with a cost of a very high bounce rate > and, high bounce rate can trigger spam filters and flag DNForum's email address as a source of spam. This can potentially make it difficult to deliver future legitimate emails, even to valid users.

I suppose previous owners just didn't want to take the risk. I assume that it was even the case when Epic owned DNF > we (DNF was still on Epic's/TerraHost servers after our take-over last April) tried sending out system emails to all users and there was almost no traction. .. probably they didn't want to take risk neither.

All the DNS, email and Xenforo specialists were highly advising to clean the list before sending out any system emails to all the users, but @Biggie's advice trying to inform all (as the most important part) came just on time.

It took us a while to create the logical structure for everything, and now, when we control every aspect of the forum - the DNF is ready to operate even more effectivelly.

It will be easy to start informing our users of important system messages (can't opt out of these) + promotional member-to-member messages (for those who have opted in for marketing messages) when the majority of dead email accounts and unused (0 post/comment) accounts are removed.

.. probably had to ask gemini or chatgpt to correct the above text and improve it, though these amazing services usually polish the message to the level when chunks of the message simply dissapears.

It is amazing to see old accounts as yours still being in the game and valuing the old Gods ;)
