I own 9 but the biggest problem is 3 letter .coms. I own hundreds and I hate getting hundreds of DTR generated spam from a bunch of domain investors that have gmail accounts.

Out of curiosity, did you buy all these domains for reg fee .. or through a legitimate sales platform such as Snapnames, DNF etc .. not even one of them was bought through an unsolicited email?

yet you can't afford some decent antispam software?

The problem is you can't empathize. You don't have domain names people want. You don't get spam generated by DRT every day. With spam software, you still have to process (look at spam folder and make sure everything is spam).

Isn't there a rich guy brunch somewhere this fine Sunday morning?

Jealousy is a hideous emotion. Do something to catch up to eliminate your jealousy problem.

Listen Madame Defarge, your behavior annoys the hell out of me, it has nothing to do with jealousy.

You know nothing of my domain portfolio.

Adam Dicker himself can come here and ask outright for a whois email harvester, and then catch no slack whatsoever.

I didn't see that post or I would have given him hell too. :)

I'm a reformed spammer.

Of course, wealth and a large domain portfolio = clean hands. I'm just a little surprised you're so forthcoming on that point.

Which part of the forum should I head to so I can lay all of my cards out on the table? Anyone know the financial prerequisite for the DNForum benefit of the doubt?

Just curious, how old are you fearless? I find the old time domainers have no empathy towards how difficult it is get anywhere in todays domaining world. Give the dude a break. You tired of spam coming from LLL offers? Make a seperate account for LLL's and have all email sent there to be ignored.

I wish someone would spam me offering to buy my domains :-(

As Acro pointed out, he (and I) have been offering these simple permutations for years. I don't do it now, maybe Acro does; and I certainly don't generate them for spam and I know he doesn't.

Anyway, it's such a simple program to write that it's almost the next algorithm that you might attempt after "Hello World". Heck, I'm sure I even posted the program here a couple of years ago.

I'm curious about that as well. My 91 year old Grandfather is convinced each time his neighbor goes out to fetch the morning paper, he's acually hopping the fence and "stealing apples".

You can't ignore whois emails. Some are legal issue emails. Some are end user buyers not offering $1,000 for a 3 letter .com.

I also get spam for names that have Overture.

If Frank Schilling can deal with it, so can you.
