how many left now?
It's all hype, designed to push up domain reg's
I have a few LLLL already, but will not be regging any more.. and those regging hundreds now because of the hype are going to lose cash... The good ones are already gone.
LLLL is not LLL
The main aftermarket for LLLL would be orgs with 4 letter acronyms... don't you think if they wanted the 4 letter acronym domain they would already have it before you??
Don't waste your hard earned cash on crappy LLLL names..
I thought exactly the same when others were registering LLL domains.
Anyhow, we will see.
Almost 10,000 LLLL regsitered in just last 7 days or so.....
Simple, as long as there's a consensus on the minimal prices for LLLL.com as how it works for all the LLL.tlds, there are alway investors who believe in it would like to pay my portfolio for around that price +/-. It is just about when you think it is the right time to sell.Even if the price is pushed up solely by domainers.... how many domainers do you know that will pay 4 x reg fee for a generic LLLL with no meaning?
Lucky if you can sell 1 in 100 for 4 x reg fee even to fellow speculative domainers...
What do you do with the other 99 out of 100 that you hold???? You either keep them and pay the huge renewal costs hoping to flog them for 40 bucks, or you cut your losses and drop them all.... I know what I would do...

I did this for my LLL.us porfolio. I cannot regret more that I sold it too early.

Well I respect your opinion but you didn't convince me at all.We are not talking about LLL though, we are talking about LLLL now. And there is no consensus regarding pricing (except the reg fee for the crappy ones that are left)
There are a lot more LLLL than LLL so holding on to the ones that no-one else wants for years on end, will more than likely cost you more than the eventual consensus that may or may not occur regarding the price of a LLLL
I'm not going to post any more on this subject as I can see there is support and ridicule in equal measure..
Just don't expect it to be the cash cow that LLL has become... If you reg hundreds you WILL lose money unless they are decent, pronouncable names.
Go ahead and fill your boots... reg the thousands of useless names that are still available... bookmark this thread and come back in 1 or 2 years and tell me you made it rich, and did not drop most of them, and I will quite happily eat my left ball if I got it wrong....
I have already sold a LLLL doman about a year ago, before all this hype... vuds.com I sold it via this forum for 2 or 3 hundred bucks... but it still did not ignite my interest in LLLL.. and my interest is still not ignited....
When it comes to "bad" 3-letter .us there is not much difference as far as speculator value. Neither has much end user value or demand. So what really is different for LLLL.com compared to LLL.us?
When thousands and thousands of 4-letter .com's with less desirable letters come up for renewal next year I guess we'll see what happens to supply.I think the only negative part in the comparison for LLLL.com is it has a larger pool which will make it vanishing later and the price increase slower. But it cannot go anywhere beyond the rule of supply and demand.
i think minimum price is 20$ for any LLLL.com
