Few weeks ago I got an inquiry through whois , the guy made a mistake telling me during negotiations that they "just needed to have this domain for their new website" , wasn't a big bucks domain , more or less a typo that meant something to this person , I rejected the initial offer of $100 and we wound up a little under 1k.

moral of the story is if he didn't say that he would have bought it much cheaper , so sometimes it pays to negotiate a little just to feel the person out.

just got a domain estimating it at least 15k for only 500
waiting for transfer BUT as its OVT is over 1k will
wait to see its PPC income.

Believe it or not will send to the seller a $200 to $300 bonus if it has good income :)
Of course seller does not have idea about this yet ...I didn't try to convise him in any way with false info or whatever to accept my offer ...at my second offer accepted!
That's the reason I always enter the bid with low $$$ ...even if i get a reply for an unreasonable amount e.g 1 million !! I never stop the bidding.
