Sorry it's just not that good a domain. There are only 6 or so banks in Canada. Does anyone really need to go to a website to know they're all crooks???

My opinion is it's one of those trophy domains. Nice to own but I'd never pay $$$$ for it.

Is it still in auction? Would be nice to see it break 35k or 40k to become the top reported .ca sale ever.

Who knows, in time more banks might enter Canada. Would be a nice domain for a credit union or ING to use to do a spoof site on the big banks as part of their advertising.

Well someone mentioned credit unions so I'd take creditunions.ca hands down over banks.ca.

The only thing I could see using banks for is a b i t c h site and maybe offer credit unions as an alternative. I mean from a business perspective there are only 6 banks or so and how are you going to make $$$$ other than PPC. Is there anybody in canada that can't name the 5-6 major banks?????? The advertiser market is just tooooo small.

There are hundreds of credit unions however and there $$$$ could be made. PPC or development.

I just see it as a trophy domain. Nice to own but useless to play with.

well there is td candad trust, royal, cibc, bmo, laurentian, ing, western bank of canada and a few others so i don't think it is such a bad name at all. You are only limited by your imagination when it comes to developing a site.
