Nice Dog bro !!He is doing great with eating and putting on weight. His skin and coat are healthy and beautiful. Thankfully, he was taken from the owner in the nick of time (he and his brother).
Sweet potatoes is a snack that these guys go crazy over.
He's a big, sweet, fluffy pooch - already 27 inches at the shoulder. He only weighed 52 pounds when we got him.
Aside from Animal cruelty, what upsets me the most are unwanted Animals that are bred from movies like "101 Dalmatians", they breed these dogs knowing their hyperactive and when the owners can no longer handle them, their either abandoned or taken to a shelter. I know their are good breeders out there, but I think there are more bad breeders than good.
This is an ages old problem and must be addressed by enacting and enforcing laws on the state and local level. I do not think that breed specific laws (no allowing certain breed ownership) is the answer. As you point out, this is the result of uneducated and irresponsible ownership. The issue is unethical breeders and unethical (and uneducated) owners.
