I agree some of the ones that got passed up I can't believe and I am still scratching my head at some of mine they chose.

I submitted 77 great names to the auction. Only 23 were selected. They passed on names such as motorcyclists.com, swordplay.com, ejr.com, crushes.com, psychos.com, screenings.com, weaponry.com, tightwads.com and sealer.com.

They need a top domainer to select the names. The trouble is they can't pay a top domainer enough money to go though all the crap.

Can you give an example of some they did pick above those they didn't?

They picked ec.com, a name that should be getting more exposure at this point.

Domebase (Bob) has a program that rates names. His program picked ec.com as the top name in the auction.

Ec.com should net you big big bucks. Not sure you had to run it through any sort of program to figure that one was one of the tops. Two prime letter domain = lots o' green in anybodys book.

Really, really nice domain! Looks like big big bucks coming your way!

Amazing what they turned down. given their current structure though, ec.com probably won't even make it into the live auction.

Pay.mobi will take its place. Afterall .mobi is the future!
