Folks, I have about 500 domains and am thinking of opening a domain store.

Would you please give me your opinions on the branding options I've given myself for such an enterprise. Does one of these domains I "own" jump out at you - in a good way, I mean - or would you suggest I keep hunting?

NicRight.com

DomainAllStars.com

DamnGoodDomains.com

TopDrawDomains.com

BrandmadeDomains.com

BrandReadyDomains.com

IndelibleDomains.com

DomainHooks.com

DirtyDotcoms.com

(In most cases, I've also registered SeeAboveDomainNames.com)

Clearly, the name will be of terrific importance, so thanks in advance for any feedback you can give me.

Well, hey, if nobody has anything positive to say about the above post, how about something negative? Any feedback would be welcome.

RJ? NamePopper? I'd really like to get your comments, no matter how brief.

Hi,

At first glance none really grabbed my attention, there might be better ones out there, I would keep hunting.

Mike :)

Well... I like NicRight.com & DomainAllStars.com from that list.

NicRight just sounds...right...and DomainAllStars instantly gives an idea of great names there.

Of course--you could also Flex your Domain Muscle--and buy www.DomainFlex.com from me--with a nice LOGO already made and included for only $25. :D Hehe

Why don't you buy me out for just $2,000 (via PayPal.com)?

nameslave.com is listed with most major search engines, including dmoz.org and therefore Google and Yahoo!

Try search "domain ownership transfer appraisal" and we're in top 10 :)

Namepopper, thanks for that input. (And for deleting the accidental duplicate thread.)

You don't think nic (as in NicRight) might be be too much of an "insider" term?

By the way, mon ami, I checked out that logo of yours. Handsome! Nice job! Just wasn't excited by the name itself.

No problem BDM. :D

Tell you what...which ever name you decide to go with...I will make you a Free LOGO as a birthday present. If you decide to use it great--if not--no big deal. I just like to play around--so just let me know.

You make a good point about the term "Nic" by the way. Sometimes as sellers--we forget that a normal population of people exists out there too--that doesn't use such words the same way we do.

I would think that it would be ok to use the term "Nic". I will be using TLDN.com as my Domain site.

I was about to say something...but then I realized that I'm on duty.

I need to create a second user name that I can use--to be just another regular member.

NIC, insider term. There are a few registrars using it. OnlineNic, etc. AfterNic, as you know.... It would be the same as using any brandable name, like Domainster (bad example), it should be memorable. Nic, when pronounced, some people may type Nick.

I think there are better names out here, still available! DomainAllStars is good for reselling.

Mike is Tippy. Tippy is Mike's cat. Mike uses Tippy as his user name.

And WinFreeCash is a slut.

WinFreeCash is a rose among thorns!

Oh, and thanks for your input, Doberry, but did you mean DomainAllStars is a good name for resale or for branding a domain selling shop I might set up?
