Hi,

I regularly register my domain names with a local reseller in my city here in India. However they are now trying to loot their customers by charging exorbitant yearly fee without any justification. Most of my domains with this reseller are registered with dotregistrar. This local reseller does not even give us control panel access on dotregistrar to manage our domain names.

So, i am now planning to transfer my domains to my eNom reseller account.

Few questions, hoping someone experts out here can help me...

1. How difficult is it to do a transfer between dotrgistrar to eNom?
2. How logn does it take to complete the transfer to eNom?
3. Currently some of my domains are showing the status as 'Restricted' in Whois... what does this mean? Does it mean, I transfers are restricted? How can i get out of this situation?
4. Any step-by-step instructions on how to safely and quickly do the transfers?

Thanks for any help there. Much appreciated.

Cheers

the main part to unlock the domain, then make sure you have access to the admin contact email address, buy the transfer at the gaining registrar, authorize the transfer with the email that is sent to the admin contact email address, either wait 5 day or so for pending current registrar approval or see if losing registrar has transfer accept feature to expedite transfer
