Thanks for the reply

What went throught my head was not motion but these thoughts:
The person buying insurance names wanted every day expressions.
Every time I buy something major in a shop
I say "I want it ,
But You know, I never pay full price"
This expression more often than not results in a discount.
The .com was taken and the .biz seemed to go with it, and was also only $5.95
Maybe where you live you don't use that expression. I live in Australia.
Heaps of people do use that expression as evidenced by a search in Google on
Never pay full price

Now I have your appraisal I know i have wasted another $5.95
Oh well , I am learning.
Regards
Joe

Netau,

To answer you using a different tone, these are available now:

evercheaper.biz
lowerprice.us

You need to rethink the way you're doing things if you're trying to build a portfolio. Use register.com's 'suggestion engine' for a keyword, then register it with godaddy.com if you want to take it.

Good luck!

You're right about localised sayings etc. I have pissarti.st and people use it at my site for an email address (in fact I have an address [email protected]) which I use for the odd sign-up etc. But being pissed to an American means being upset as you know. Sometimes localised stuff is worth more than that evaluated by outsiders. I had to laugh, one guy signed up as [email protected] which I thought was astute... :)

No, you're not precluded from registering a .US domain if you are 'a foreign entity regularly doing business in the USA' which you ARE, and a couple of other simple questions. Godaddy.com make it really easy. I have a ton of .us domains and I don't live there, but some of my customers are there, like some of yours are for domain names...

Thanks once again Dale
I have adjusted my thinking resulting in registering

TheHalfPrice.com

It cost me $2 more than the .biz or .us prices though.
Is it worth the extra $2?

Is TheHalfPrice.com any better than my last 2 tries of
payhalfprice.biz
neverpayfullprice.biz?

Yeah i think using register.com's suggestion tool is an easy way to appraise domain names for newbies...

Type in your domain name and search all the generated domains..The more suggestions are taken, the more your domain is valuable
:)

easy way

netau, you have done really well! "The Half Price dot com" has good audible value, plus it's eminently marketable. I would suggest it's worth ten times what you paid for it already. I don't say this stuff gratuitously and I expect there are folk that would agree with me--hopefully we'll see. :) NICE one.
