We were away covering the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. New York conference last week (our comprehensive show review article is due out this weekend) so there was no weekly domain sales report at DNJournal.com. Instead, we are bringing you completely up to date with a new double length report published today that covers all of the notable sales reported over the past two weeks since our last report was filed. Headlining the new sales column is the first seven-figure sale reported since the opening quarter of this year â a transaction that weighed in at $1,015,000. That is the fourth biggest sale reported so far in 2008.
To make room for the expanded pool of data we expanded all of our weekly charts from 20 to 40 positions this week. .Com enjoyed its usual dominance of the all extension leader board but five ccTLDs and five Global Contenders also crashed the party, with the yearâs third biggest .net sale leading the way for the non .com contingent. You can get all of the details here: http://www.dnjournal.com/domainsales.htm
